Imlie Actress Rajshri Rani Embraces Motherhood: Expecting Her First Child
Rajshri Rani, beloved for her role as Suhani in “Suhani Si Ek Ladki” and last seen in “Imlie,” is now expecting her first child. Currently in her second trimester, the baby is expected to arrive in February. Rajshri, who married actor Gaurav Mukesh in November 2020, talked about it in a recent interview and joyfully shared, “When I learned about my pregnancy, I experienced a mix of emotions — happiness, embarking on a new journey, and the sense of newfound responsibility. Naturally, Gaurav and I were overjoyed because we had been trying for a baby for a year. The moment that left me teary-eyed was when I heard my baby’s heartbeat for the first time. It’s indescribable.”
She adds, “I have been going through both emotional and physical changes. I have always been a bit moody, so I can’t solely attribute my mood swings to pregnancy. My cravings have increased, and Gaurav spoils me to the point of indulging in my every whim (laughs!).”
Reflecting on the initial trimester of her pregnancy, Rajshri acknowledges its challenges. She explains, “When you decide to start a family in your 30s, you need to be extra careful during pregnancy. Around two months into my pregnancy, I faced a complication with the formation of a clot inside the uterus. My doctor advised me to rest and avoid traveling. However, I took it lightly. I made the mistake of going out to watch a film, which must have caused exertion resulting in heavy bleeding. I had to be on bed rest until I fully recovered. That phase was quite scary, but I am doing well now. As they say, all’s well that ends well.”
In terms of their professional lives, Gaurav Mukesh has shared the screen with Rajshri in both “Suhani Si Ek Ladki” and “Imlie.” Their love story blossomed during the course of “Suhani Si Ek Ladki,” leading to their marriage in Gwalior in 2020.
