Imlie 8th December 2020 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
Bade papa returns home and sees whole family mimicking smoking cigarettes. He sees cigarettes near children. Imlie asks them to start their drama. Bade papa stops them and asks what are they doing. Pankaj says smoking cigarettes. Whole family offers him cigarettes. Bade papa shouts to stop it as its injurious for health and asks who taught them. They all say him, say they all follow him and request to stop smoking. Bade papa promise not to smoke and gives his cig pack to Imlie. Imlie asks him to take out all his hidden packets. He takes out packets from cushion covers, under sofa and all around house and apologizes each family member. Family thanks Imlie for her help. After sometime, they all keep their written poem for Aditya. Imlie asks if she should remove her poem. They insist her to keep it back. Aditya walks in and they ask him to read the poem and inform whose poem he liked. He reads children’s poem first, then each family member’s, and finally likes one. Aparna says he liked Imlie’s poem and it will be printed on Aditya and Malini’s wedding card. Imlie runs to her room crying. Aditya stands tensed. Rupali asks what did Imlie write. Aparna reads it and says its very beautiful. Imlie runs to her room crying and thinks why she is feeling bad hearing about Aditya’s wedding, she know he is destined to marry someone else and she cannot continue her borrowed relationship. Aditya walks to her. Imlie says she didn’t know its for his wedding, else she wouldn’t have written it; she knows he loves Malini and eventually would marry her. Aditya says his family is getting habituated to her, she is getting into their heart soon, he doesn’t want that to happen as it would be difficult for them to accept truth once she leaves home; so she should leave his house soon.
Malini shows Aditya’s pic to daadi and asks how is it. Daadi picks Malini and Aditya’s sneezing pic and says this is perfect. She gifts her gold bangles which her husband bought it for her with great hard work. Malini gets emotional and says this is the best gift from the best person in her life. Anu walks in. Malini shows her bangles. Anu says they are too old fashioned and she should get them melted and make a small earring out of them. Daadi sadly says Malini accepted her gift, that is enough for her. Malini says she will wear these during her pheras as she will feel dadaji’s blessings with her. Malini walks away fuming. Malini thanks daadi.
At Pagdandiya, Sarpanch with villagers are busy watching TV when Mithi walks to him and says she is worried about Imlie, so if he can give her Aditya’s phone number. Sarpanch asks how will he have Aditya’s number. She asks each villager amd cries asking why didn’t they take Aditya’s address or phone number. Sarpanch asks her to move aside and not spoil their entertainment. Mithi cries that he felt bad when she interrupted cinema, but what about her daughter’s life, they forcefully married her to city man and sent her with him without taking his address or phone number, everyone forcefully became brother and father that day and now they are not worried about village’s daughter. Satyakam enters and asks what happened to his Imlie. Sarpanch says he knows they get a girl married if she spends a night with a man. Mithi says spending night and staying together are different, Imlie was stuck in a storm with Aditya. Satyakam says rules are made to protect daughters, threatens sarpanch to behead him for his sin. Villager says it was not sarpanch’s idea but Dulari naani’s.
