Imlie 18th March 2022 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
Aryan and Imlie exchange engagement rings. Everyone claps for them. Aparna says its good that they can celebrate both prewedding rituals and festival. Arpita says they didn’t celebrate holi since 4 years, but this time they will. Aryan says he will celebrate holi with his faince. Imlie says she will not play holi and walks away. Pankaj asks why did she say that. Meethi says she said that to taunt Aryan or else Imlie loves holi. After some time, Meethi applies oil in Imlie’s hair and says she should do it before playing holi. Imlie says she doesn’t want to as a lot happened in her life, she got married and got divorce before she turned 20, so she needs to change now. Meethi says she should change her name as Imle turns sweet with age and suggests her to keep smiling as she is marrying with all the rituals to a man who always supports her and will always stand by her, etc. Imlie thinks she will play holi tomorrow but will not let Aryan touch her.
Aryan remembers Imlie’s words and thinks he will apply her color first.
Pankaj sees Aditya crying standing in a balcony and to cheer him up says he taught him to fly kite from here. He suggests him to forget Imlie and let her move on with Aryan as he rejected her and she went to Aryan. Aditya says Imlie left him many times and returned to him, even this time she will.
Next day, T family celebrates holi and apply color to each other. Aryan’s family walks in. Aparna and Pankaj greet them and wish happy holi. Arpita says Aryan is eager to meet Imlie and play holi with her. Aryan says he is just punctual. Meethi brings Imlie. Aryan says this is his first holi with his wife after marriage, so he should first apply color to her. Imlie shies and says she is acting as a shy bride. Families walk away. Aryan says he was not acting and will apply her color first. She says she will not get dirty by letting him color her. She challenges him that she knows he can do anything to fulfill his ego, she saw him using his money and exchanging ring yesterday, but she is a cotton and he cannot buy her easily. Aryan accepts her challenge and says he will win this challenge and her.. She asks what? He says he will later. She stops him and says she challenged him and he doesn’t know what all he will lose.
Neela Badimaa and Gudiya get jealous seeing Imlie with Aryan. Meethi applies colors to them and wishes happy holi. Neela humiliates her for ruining her sari. Imlie interferes and calling her blue kaki asks if its a costly sari. Neela says 60000 rs. Imlie says its too cheap for Aryan Singh Rathore’s wife. Neela continues yelling. Imlie splashes water on her and says if its real silk, its stain would have cleared; someone fuped her with fake sari while her amma’s 450 rs sari is still shining since 15 years, etc. Neela determines to take revenge from Imlie.
Imlie passes by Aditya who asks if she didn’t apply color via her husband if she is really married, its a ritual which she has to follow. Imlie says she never shied away from any responsibilities or rituals and nobody can force her. She repeats Aryan’s words to accept all the difficulties to make them easy. Aditya asks if Aryan is a difficulty which she is accepting. She says she is suggesting him to move on in life and walks away. . Arpita applies color to Sundar. He feels happy. Aryan sees Imlie sitting silently.

I don’t know why but I don’t see revenge anymore 🤷♀️. All I’m seeing is the second husband trying to annoy the hell outta first husband 🤣🤣🤣. And the wife ends up thinking it’s revenge 🤷♀️
@Ru, there is no such thing here, my dear… First of all, no one gave him the rights of a husband. Secondly, he’s not only annoying the first husband here, he’s also tormenting Imlie with it… which he is well aware of, but seems to be FINE with that.
And if we’re going to talk about his “feelings“, I will put it this way for now:
He doesn’t care if Imlie is happy with him or not, he just want her to stay with him, no matter in what condition!
As delighted as we are by his looks and other good traits, this is absolutely not done!

1. Imile’s repetition of Aryan mentoring line to Adi – says or said it all for me.
She is fond of her Aryan and just a bit stubborn at the moment. Her loyalty is misplaced due to Adi inciting hatred re Aryan.
PS: They will get it together, its a matter of when or where?

Well, the way I see it, there’s only one thing that can possibly „save“ Aryan in my eyes. Only if it somehow turned out that everything was fake in this wedding. Fake haldi, fake sindoor, fake priest.
That way, it could turn out that Aryan at least kept his promise to Imlie and didn’t go through with a real marriage. Only THAT could, -under certain circumstances-, show him that he was still an „honorable“ man. But just maybe… Otherwise, I still find that Imlie is just „a means to an end“ for him, just a tool, despite his growing feelings for her. If his goal was really only to protect her from Aditya, he would not regularly humiliate and provoke him without any regard for her feelings. I still think, his revenge is more important to him than Imlie.
Honour is persons self respect.
He has that.

@Lin @Metin. I agree with you Lin. Love is something which cannot be bought or secured by taking Care or ensuring protection, mentoring etc of your perceived partner. Also, the arithmetic and grammar of love is beyond logic, and that of wedded (may be later divorced due to any reason other than lack of love) love is beyond comprehension. If you are aware of Laila- Majnu love, none of them were desirable or eligible characters from other’s perspective, but for themselves they were life- n- death. So we judging who is better for Imlie, many would like to believe it’s Aryan and not that useless ( in other’s words) Aditya, is just making fun of ourselves. Lin, I’m totally with you that right now Aryan displays no lover like characteristics, and even later, he has to be purged and tested by fire to prove himself a true lover. Right now everything is goody goody for him. Stinking rich, power and status, and a helpless Imlie creaking under loads of obligation and threat of harm to Aditya. And Dear Metin, firstly, honor and self respect which Aryan is supposedly having may not be the trig points of love which I have tried to explore. And secondly, as I said, right now everything is goody goody for Aryan. Only extreme adversity can confirm that. He is yet to be tested by fire of fate and adversities.

1. I agree to disagree. I think now Aryans revenge for Adi is not so important as protecting Imlie from going back to Aditya, who is still married. Adi has thrown too much insults, humiliation and hurt – even Meeti has reached ” enough is enough” to Adi.
Aryan has told Imlie categorically that he will not ever use her in his mission
2. IP have shown us so many scenes where Aryans quick responses to save Imlie from all her falls, accidents, Izzat ( dress torn) honour at Mirchi Bazzar and more. Hehas been her Mentor, an Angel guarding her and offering her courage to fight etc
All these actions have been spontaneous and not part of pre planned revenge
3. I agree with the concept
You can not buy love with wealth
Aryan has offered shelter ( taking rent ), from Imlie. As a fair boss, he has promoted her. Is imlie’s work substandard to Aditya?

I wish this Blue Kaki accidentally intoxicated her gold digging niece then she can show her true face. The pedo might join hands with these 2 witches… Imlie for once had her own back in front of this failed abortion named Aditya. Aditya can’t move on he’s a possessive toxic type, maybe he branded his name on Imlie like she’s cattle. Oof I can’t handle this dragging wedding. I was exaggerating that the month will end and the wedding will still be happening – looks like exactly that will happen… now it’s holi then mehndi afterwards hurdee and lord knows what else. Aryan called Meethi but not Satyakam…. Imlie has 2 parents, they may have got married late in life but those are the people who raised her… could ASR be afraid of his future father in law 👀 they didn’t invite Nani either… Nani could handle blue Kaki… I saw the most beautiful picture it was all the Tripathi’s dressed in white and bidding Imlie farewell happily – it’s like they were saying bye to the viewers made my heart happier than our dashing ASR running faster than a truck. Yesterday when he carried Imlie on the truck, I thought this is it he’s going to look up and fly – like superman after rescuing Louis Lane.

Imlie is mad she should see aryan loves her
This part was not interesting for me. There was no notable progress.
The scene that I like the most in the episode is the nervousness of the aunt and nephew (eating extravagantly). I hope they get kicked out of the drama in the image of a ball at 100kg. Unnecessary assets.

At least imlie is waking up and giving befitting replies to neelima. Slowly she is coming back to her old self and she will need all her wit to outclass neelima and gudiya’s plans while at the same time juggling between Aryan and Adi.
@Baat Bin, I usually really like your way of seeing positivity everywhere.
But sadly, you seem to be idealizing or trivializing the wrong thing here
Aryan is apparently someone who, when he thinks he’s right, doesn’t seem to care that much how many lines he crosses. He said himself: “Imlie doesn’t know that my arrogance knows no bounds”.
In other words, he believes in that very controversial “adage”: “The end justifies the means”.
Maybe, just maybe, he might have acted differently if he had admitted his current feelings for Imlie… Perhaps he would have been more careful not to lose her for good this way.
But I guess he’s still in denial. He obviously doesn’t like falling in love with her, if that’s really the case🤔. He sees that as a weakness, especially since she hasn’t gotten over Adi yet.
He is aware that she is important to him, though, for various reasons.
But what is even more important to him is not to lose focus on his revenge plans.
He knows very well by now, nothing would hurt Adi and his ego more than losing Imlie to him, not even prison.
He said in the episode where Imlie walked out of his house, something like, “I don’t care how she feels about me or Aditya, but she will have no choice but to come back here.”
He knows Imlie quite well by now and seems to have calculated correctly this time. There was also a calculated risk in her saying NO to his condition. In fact, I think due to his budding feelings for her, there was a little moment where a part of him even hoped that she would reject. I guess, at that moment he would have liked the feeling that Aditya wasn’t that important to her anymore.
But basically he expected that she would want to save him…
Imlie is Aryan’s most important card at the moment, so to speak.
He is not really the savior here @Baat Bin. Tbh, I don’t even think Imlie would have go back to Adi, despite her feelings for him. But I guess, we’ll never know … Thanks to Aryan…
I wouldn’t go so far as to call him an evil or devil. He still has pangs of conscience, he still can be “saved”…
But he is definitely on the wrong path.

I have been a fan of the Aryan character since his first day entry.
I still maintain that his actions have been both admirable and honourable towards Imlie , even now.
He has told Imlie twice he will not use her in his mission. I believe him.
His story _
– he has been in very lonely place for a long, long time. He has shut himself up for a long time since Arvind’s tragic death 4 years ago. Aryans, strange awkward personality is due to him seeing Arvinds tragic death. He has stopped living and has become stone hearted and stone faced, affectionately called UNB and ABP.
In Imlie – they have both found friendship, courage to overcome their fears and difficulties. I have enjoyed all the nok jhok scenes. They have formed a lovely bond which is still growing..
He has in his way found a person/friend to love other than just his mum and sister . That is BIG for him.
In his mind he firmly believes (rightly or wrongly) that Adi is responsible for Arvind’s tragic death. He will not listen to Arpi or Imlie because he wants justice in his way. He wants Aditya to suffer and feel alone..
His comment about he does not care for what Imlie thinks about him or Aditya needs to be looked in the context in which it was said.
His anger and revenge plan as noted by his mum and sister might backfire on him. He might lose Imlie but that does not make him a bad person “grey”. I hope it releases him from the emotional burden and deeply seated pain he has carried on his own (as he is not helpless) for such along time…

Aditya is wrong. He has snooped in Aryans office to find Arvinds files. Instead of examining and dealing this himself . he approaches Imilie. He makes her believe that everything Aryan has done for her is because of him him him. Did Aryan plan all the accidental falls including , e340, the finding of Imlie on a bench when she does not have anywhere to go, the torn dress at the wedding, the mirchi bazar, Malini road runner

That Aryan offering her intern, shelter, promotion and exposing Malini is Aryans big calculated revenge plan to win Imlie over – to separate her from Adi and to turn her against Adi.
Now -stop for a second , Aryan had nothing to do with Imlie and Aryan separation’s!!!. They were due to Adi stupidity

In the hotel scene when Adi ( due to Malini plot) – first sees both Aryan and Imlie in the hote room – Aryan is only putting a jacket over her. They are not holding hands or touching each other – but Adi overreacts. Aryan tells Imlie to be calm as Adi is looking angry
Now why would Arayan say that…?

PS: Lin I can not be positive about Imlie still having feelings for Adi.
A friend of mine went though a similar journey – of wanting to go back to same self centred man. It was painful and heart-breaking to watch her fall over and over and go through a lot of emotional roller coaster.
I am trying to find something positive to say about Adi.

I don’t think the woman has any chance of refusing the divorce, since Adi has her video evidence as leverage.

@Lin. There is a popular proverb in India- making the Ganges flowing backwards. Unfortunately, the good appears bad and bad appears good to many people, ie, the Ganges appears to be flowing backwards. That’s what is happening when a self obsessed, conceited and arrogant villain Aryan becomes the Prince Charming. The result is disastrous. The show Imlie has slipped in its trp from 2.6 to 2.4, as I checked just now. This vindicates your stand, Dear Lin.
