Kuldeep is searching for Heer at the Gurdwara. He hears someone being called Heer and approaches, but it turns out to be someone else. Heer and Ranjha are serving food to people at the Gurdwara. He notices some elderly ladies in pain and prevents them from sitting on the floor. He suggests arranging chairs for them and asks Kuldeep to bring them. Kuldeep is captivated by her beauty, and Heer instructs him to help. Kuldeep gets chair for them and gets lost in Heer again. Teji calls Kuldeep, and he mentions that he’s doing seva at the Gurdwara, surprising her. He attempts to show Heer to Teji but discovers she’s gone.
Ranjha receives a call from a dealer, discussing having one quintal of rice to sell at the rate of 25 rs per kilogram. Heer is shocked by the price and insists they should get at least 50 rs per kg for their rice. She talks about being deceived by the dealer for years and decides to confront them with Ranjha to prevent poor farmers from suffering losses. Ranjha says to her I have never seen a smart person like you, you saved us from bearing loss. Heer says lets go and face them.
They reach the place and find everyone looking upset. Farmers share their grievances about receiving less money for their grain. Heer suggests they should raise their voice for justice and refuse to sell their harvest if they’re paid less. Rajwinder arrives and questions Heer’s identity. Heer claims to be one of Punjab’s daughters and challenges Rajwinder’s fixed pricing rules for harvests. They exchange words, and Heer emphasizes the need for changing rules as times change. Ranjha is impressed with Heer’s stance for farmers.
Rajwinder remains firm, and Heer, belonging to a farmer’s family herself, expresses the disappointment of being paid less for a year’s hard work. When Rajwinder raises her hand to strike Heer, Ranjha intervenes, and Heer continues to assert that farmers should only sell their harvest at the right price. Ranjha echoes the sentiment, and the farmers join Heer and Ranjha in refusing to sell their crops at half the rate.
Rajwinder realizes she has to yield for the time being and agrees to buy crops at the correct price as Heer demands. She instructs her son, Suraj Singh, to stop Heer. Heer and Ranjha are leaving with the money when Rajwinder tells Suraj Singh that Heer should not reach home with the money. Heer takes Ranjha to eat pani puri, finding him mesmerizing as she eats. Ranjha suggests going home, but Heer wants to eat Chole Bhature too. She takes the bag with money and decides to go home alone, asking Ranjha to leave. A gang of thieves attempts to steal the bag, and Ranjha fights against them, but one of the thieves runs away with the money bag.
Heer says to Ranjha I saw Gurmeet with land documents and I’m trying to call him but he is not answering, I think he is trying to do something bad.
Gurmeet gives documents to Rajwinder and he takes money from her. Heer asks Gurmeet about the money. He says I sold the land to Rajwinder. Heer in shock
