Ranjeet demonstrates the rice grains to Heer. She instructs him to save aside some grain so that they can first take it to the Gurudwara. She requests that Ranjeet prepare sarso da saag for her, and he pledges to do so shortly. Heer again queries Jeet about their land, but he lies and instructs her to concentrate on her schoolwork. His friend teases him, claiming Heer and Ranjha’s Jodi is perfect, but he tells his friend that they are simply good friends and that he should not let Heer find out that his real name is Ranjha since he prefers to be known as Jeet, a name given to him by Heer when they were children.
When Kuldeep summons Heer to get juice, he is already drinking it. When he sees her, he becomes transfixed.
Sunny and Simran run out the door after learning about Kuldeep’s new automobile. While Kuldeep walks Sunny to the car, Rajwinder inquires about Teji’s progress. When she mentions Sunny’s lack of confidence, the former believes the doctor is mistaken and urges her to alter him. Heer arrives home and asks Bheem Singh if there is any difficulty with the land because some goons came to block the water, but he makes excuses and refuses to tell her the truth. Sunny’s father chastises him severely for stammering. Teji arrives and stops him from reprimanding Sunny. They are arguing about the same thing.
The goons return beaten up to Rajwinder, and Janell punishes them severely for their defeat. His mother stops him and asks if he has had any alcohol recently. She examines his thumb and notices a black thread on it. Rajwinder makes him remember a drunken mistake he made years ago. Janell recalls seeing someone burn in a fire and begs her not to remind him of that night. He claims he hasn’t had any alcohol since the incident. Later, he takes up an alcohol bottle and recalls how Heer’s father refused to give them his land.
Rajwinder forbids her son from taking alcohol, and he promises not to betray his pledge to her. Heer’s father calls Jeet to ask about the thugs. He instructs Jeet to keep an eye on the harvested crops as well. Guruji enters and sings a blessing for Jeet. Gurmeet shows his wife photographs from Canada and thinks it’s their future, but she encourages him to instead aid his father. Guruji brings sarso leaves, which Jeet carefully prepares with Makke di roti for Heer. Rajwinder makes a plan and instructs her son not to make any mistakes this time. The episode concludes with the latter summoning goons to Heer’s land.
