Jarnail goes to his office and finds a bouquet with a card from Teji. The card apologizes for not appreciating him while raising the kids and invites him to dinner at 8 PM. Jarnail is surprised by Teji’s sudden change. Teji gets ready and sets up the dinner table. Jarnail arrives, and Teji expresses her unexpected joy. Jarnail reassures her that he is not as bad as she thinks and emphasizes his need for their family, kids, and her. Teji agrees, and they proceed with their dinner date.
Heer watches them from behind, hoping they don’t realize their notes were written by someone else. Teji and Jarnail compliment each other’s appearance and start having drinks together. Their moment is interrupted by Rajwinder’s screams calling out for Jeet. In frustration, Rajwinder throws a glass. Heer questions if Ranjha made a mistake, but Rajwinder scolds her instead. Ranjha intervenes, asking Rajwinder to punish him instead of Heer.
Rajwinder brings up Ranjha’s complaint to Sartaj, accusing Heer of seeking permission to wear colored clothes. Ranjha defends Heer’s right to wear colored clothes, but Rajwinder is unyielding. Teji explains to Jarnail about Heer’s efforts to arrange a dinner date, but everything went wrong. Frustrated, Teji leaves, declaring that nothing good can happen in their family. Heer asks Ranjha to leave the house. He pretends to leave but quickly returns, claiming he won’t leave as he is the business manager.
Heer approaches Ranjha, expressing her reluctance to talk but feeling the need to clarify something. Ranjha lightens the mood with jokes and mentions a jar of pickles that can make her happy. Heer questions why he asked Sartaj for her to wear colored clothes. Ranjha asks if she would be fine with him stopping to smile. He explains his commitment to protecting her happiness and assures he is doing just that. Heer admits she dislikes seeing him humiliated and being called a servant.
Heer expresses her discomfort with Ranjha being called an orphan, emphasizing his pure heart. She requests him to go back, and Ranjha, pleased with her concern, agrees. As Heer leaves, Tanya arrives. Rajwinder provokes Jarnail against Heer, hindering his relationship with Teji. Simran and Sunny cry about not having a Lohri celebration, and Heer overhears. She cheers the kids up and promises to help them celebrate Lohri.
Precap: Heer says to Teji I have a plan to bring everyone together in this family. Teji asks her about her plan. She shows her an invitation to Lohri celebration. Tej says she won’t agree. Heer says don’t worry I’ll make Rajwinder ready for celebration. Rajwinder shouts at kids saying I told you we won’t be celebrating Lohri this year, who permitted you to celebrate. Heer steps in and says I permitted them.

Heer is just like every other ITV heroine. Looks strong and bold on the outside but inside the “family” house is a spineless doormat, confined to traditions and worshipping her abusers. And also ungrateful to the ones who actually think of her wellbeing. Ranjha is wasting his time
