Jeet is smiling, and Teji asks him why. Heer is at the same jewelry store to pawn her accessories. Jasmin tries to make Gurmeet realize his responsibilities and scolds him for his drinking habits, reminding him that they’re soon going to have another child. Heer notices someone wearing a turban and mistakes them for Jeet. Relieved to find out it’s not him, she mentally apologizes to Jeet for keeping the truth hidden but decides to handle the situation herself.
Heer takes the money in exchange for her jewelry. As she leaves, Jeet notices her, but he thinks he might be mistaken. Teji asks Jeet if he forgot something, but he realizes he has his car keys. Jasmin makes Gurmeet swear on their unborn child and urges him to confess. Gurmeet reveals that Beant has been kidnapped because of him and apologizes to Jasmin. He also mentions Heer arranging money by selling her jewelry. Jasmin worries that Heer is going to confront the kidnappers alone.
Jeet and Teji arrive at the opening of a new restaurant and congratulate Simmi, who says Rajwinder told her they were coming, so she reserved a table for them. Jeet hesitates about having dinner, but Teji agrees, so they sit together. Teji recalls Rajwinder’s suggestion about proposing to Jeet. They’re served pizza, and Teji asks Jeet if he likes it. Jeet remembers a moment with Heer when she wanted pizza but couldn’t get it delivered, so he made one for her. He smiles at the memory.
Jeet thinks the pizza isn’t as good as before, realizing it’s because Heer isn’t there; everything feels better with her around. Teji asks Jeet if he still feels the same as before when he confessed his feelings to Heer. Jeet, wanting to maintain Heer’s image, lies that they’re only friends. Jeet goes to the washroom, and Teji writes on a tissue asking him to marry her, hoping he’ll agree.
Jeet keeps calling Heer and gets worried when she doesn’t answer. Meanwhile, some goons steal Heer’s bag with the money. Jeet picks up the tissue and thinks it’s a proposal from someone else. Teji stops him and reveals it’s from her to him. Jeet is shocked and drops it, leaving upset. Sunny and Simran ask Jeet not to leave without telling them as they’re scared of losing him. Jeet promises never to leave them. Teji tells Jeet that her kids never experienced a father’s love, but seeing him with them makes her realize he’s filling that void in their lives. Jeet asks Teji for some time to make a decision.
