“What’s wrong with you Sahil? Have you lost it? How could you do this to me? I thought you as my life partner but you betrayed me. Shame on you.” – A girl was seen shouting at a boy. Just then she felt dizzy and fell down.
“Swara, what happened?? Are you ok??” Before she could answer that, a sound came from behind.
“Don’t you dare to touch her. Get off from her. You have already caused a lot of damage. Now just move from here.”
“Laksh!!!” – Sahil was surprised to see him. “How are you dost??”
Laksh was disgusted by listening the word ‘dost’. Once upon a time they were best buddies but now nothing is same. The guy whom he trusted a lot betrayed him. He was not in a mood to think about those time. For now his other best friend, Swara is more important. He was going to tell get lost to Sahil, they both listened someone’s loud voice.
“Lucky, please tell him to go. I don’t want to meet him again. Tell him that love is not important in my life and I can live without him because I have my best friend by my side.”- Swara was having tears in her eyes by end of her outburst.
” Ohh that’s why u want this break up. I understand it now. You both are having affairs behind my back. Laksh is your new boyfriend, right Swara? Does he give you pleasure as much as me?”- Sahil was smirking by looking at both Swara and Lucky.” By the way your choice is not bad Swara. After all you showed your true color. blo*dy Sl*t.
Before he could finish, he received a tight slap across his cheek. Laksh looked at him with disgusted look and spat angrily, ” You better get lost Sahil before I kill u with my bare hand. And don’t you dare to take my Shona’s name from your flithy mouth.”
Sahil was very furious. In his life , he never have been insulted too much. He looked at Swara who was now standing at a corner of the room with a pale face, and tear filled eyes. Then he looked at Laksh and before going out he just simply said,”you will never be happy in your life Swara. I promise you that. If you are not mine, then you can’t be other’s. Mark my word.”
After he left Laksh came near Swara and asked slowly if she was ok or not. She nodded her head in positive and tried to go from that place. She knew Laksh hate tears and she couldn’t take a risk to cry in front of him. Before she could ran from there, she felt a tug at her wrist and looked back to find Laksh looking at her with soft eyes.
“You can cry in front of me ,Shona. I won’t stop you today. Let all your frustrations out of your system. But remember it’s only the first and last time you will cry for that bastard. He is not worth of your precious tears.” Swara adverted her gaze from him and tried to speak something. But a lump formed in her throat and she couldn’t speak. She just ran to Laksh and hugged him tightly and cried hard in his shoulder.
“Shhh Shona. It’s enough. Please yaar.” Laksh tried to pacify her.
“Lucky, am I a sl*t? Do you have regret for our friendship? I’m not worth of your friendship yaar. In fact he was right, I will only hurt you. “- She cried harder.
“Enough Swara! Don’t you dare to tell anything about my best friend. Just stop crying for a person who doesn’t deserve you at all. And I don’t care what he thinks. You r my honey bunny and you will be my HB forever.”- Laksh pacified her slowly.
” Are you telling truth? You won’t leave my side? But you are his friend first and you are the only friend of mine. Will you break friendship with him only for me?” Swara asked looking at him like a lost child.
Laksh sighed looked at her and nodded his head.
“May be I met him before I met you, may be he introduced you to me, may be he told you not to make more friends, but remember he lost my friendship that day when he tried to create misunderstanding between us. I just kept quiet because of you. But he crossed all his limits today. And I will never forgive him. Now forget him and enjoy your life Shona. Make new friends. I’ll be always there for u.”
“Do you think I can make new friends?? Won’t they judge me for my past?”
“Everyone has some past. But real friends will never judge you but they will support you in your hard time. Just give yourself a chance. Now smile my sweet hb.” Laksh pinched her nose slightly.
“Ok ok my dear Lalkilla. I understand everything.” Swara said smiling.
“Don’t call me with that name Shona.” Laksh said making puppy face. “I have a reputation among girls. Don’t spoil it, plz.”
“Should I tell Ragini about this reputation??”- Swara asked controlling her smile.
” Noooooooooooo”- Laksh was panicking. “You can’t do that Shona.My love story will end before starting.”
Swara laughed out loud seeing his state. “Don’t worry my bestu. I m not going to tell.”
Laksh breathed in relief after listening to her. He then looked at her and they both laughed together till their stomach hurt.
After their laughing session Swara came back to serious mode.
“Every boyfriends are jerk. They always try to use girls for their benefit.”- she thought to herself. ” I am not going to fall in love again to make myself fool. I’m so done with this stupid feelings. Now let’s concentrate on friendship. This year I am gonna make so many new friends and enjoy. ”
Her thoughts came to an end when Laksh shook her vigorously.
“Are you okay Shona?? Where are you lost?”
“I’m fine Lucky. Let’s go back to class. It’s already late.” Swara said smiling.
“Ok then let’s move.”
