Anika entered the office and looked around it , she was feeling butterflies as she felt a strange connection with the name of Oberois.

‘’Ms. Anika Chaturvedi’’ a voice was heard and Anika turned towards the direction from where the voice came.

A young chubby girl in her teens came in front of her and smiled.

‘’Hi I am Saumya..Saumya Tendulkar’’ she forwarded her hands.

‘’I am Anika…Anika Chaturvedi’’ Anika shook her hands with Saumya

‘’Welcome to Oberoi Industries…I was asked to accompany you till the Security and take care of giving your Id , Laptop and also to show your cabin…so shall we’’ Saumya spoke

‘’yeah Sure..after you’’ Anika replied

They both started walking towards the security desk and were indulged in talks

‘’If you don’t mind, can I ask you something?’’ Anika spoke a  bit hesitant

‘’off course’’ Saumya replied

‘’You seem to be very young in fact you look like you still are studying. Can I know your exact work role in this company’’ Anika questioned Saumya

‘’Ohh yes… you are right..i am student, but I do a part-time job here to support my family. And my role is I am a member of Oberoi services and support team. We are a group who schedule interviews , and help the internal employees with any services. Since you are new joinee,  I was asked to assist you and moreover I was the one who was working on your profile from the very beginning. ‘’ Saumya explained everything in detail.

‘’you are really sweet Saumya’’ Anika smiled patting her back.

‘’thank you so much’’ Saumya felt happy

After completion of all the formalities , Anika bid bye to Saumya and entered her cabin. She was taken at a senior position, she would have to report to Shivaay and Omkara and if required to Kalyani, Tej and/or Shakthi oberoi. Almost all the financial and managerial decisions would pass through her and she leaded a team. She sat on the chair and opened her laptop and was going through the schedules, when a lady came to her .

‘’you are Ms.Anika !! am I right’’ the lady greeted

‘’yes..i am ..’’ Anika rose from her seat

‘’no..please be seated..welcome to Oberoi Industries..i am Priyanka Singh Oberoi and I am one of the board of directors of the Oberoi Empire’’ Priyanka spoke

‘’hello..mam’’ Anika replied

‘’Ohh please don’t be formal..call me Priyanka. You are much elder to me in age as well as experience’’ Priyanka spoke politely

Anika smiled in return.

‘’I was just checking something here with the staff and came to know from them that the new senior HR joined… so came to meet you. Also since I am here , I would like to inform you personally that there will be a board meeting in an hour and you would be meeting the who and who of this Oberoi Empire. I hope you would have a really nice time working here’’ Priyanka concluded

‘’thank you so much and I would be looking forward to meet and know the management and I hope I would give my best and  not let you down’’ Anika replied

Priyanka smiled and left from there.

‘’Why am I feeling I know her. Why am I feeling I am connected to them. ‘’ Anika thought sitting in her chair and then ‘’no Anika, you are hired here for a job and you must give your 100 % , never let them down and don’t think all these stupid things’’ she mentally slammed herself and indulged in work.

‘’May I come in ‘’ a voice was heard by Shivaay, Omkara , Priyanka and other members

Everyone stopped their discussion and turned towards the direction of door

‘’Yes Ms.Anika ‘’ Priyanka smiled and said

‘’ANIKA’’ Shivaay took the name within himself and looked on.

‘’I am so sorry. I am late. Actually I was searching for the conference room and got late’’ Anika gave explanation without being asked for.

‘’Relax Ms.Anika..we haven’t started the exact discussion yet’’ Omkara said and looked towards her

Anika was nervous and just looked on

‘’by the way I am Om..Omkara Singh Oberoi…’’ he forwarded his hand

‘’Om..Omkara…’’ Anika thought to herself

‘’Hi I am Anika..Anika Chaturvedi’’ she shook his hands

‘’Anika’’ Omkaara exclaimed

‘’yes Anika’’ she replied

‘’you know what your name seems so much familiar to me… I have known this name…I am sure I have known this name’’ Omkara said

‘’Uhhu..uhhuuu’’ a cough was heard

Everyone turned towards the person who coughed

‘’If you are done, shall we come to the point. The introductions can be done during the break. ‘’ a voice calm yet stormy was heard

‘’he is Shivaay…THE Shivaay Singh Oberoi’’ Om whispered to Anika.

Shivaay looked on, while Om gestured as if sealing his lips.

‘’Shivaay Singh Oberoi…Shivaay Singh Oberoi…why is the feeling of knowing all these people getting stronger. How can this be possible. ‘’ she again thought to herself

‘’Anika..is she the same Anika? No it can’t be…well even if she is the same..i don’t care. For me she is an employee here and I am her boss…she works for me, I pay her….i have closed my past and I will not think of anyone except my family’’ Shivaay also slipped into his thoughts.

The room was in PinDrop silent mode but two pairs of eyes were creating storm to each others.

Watching shivaay and anika looking at each other ‘’shall we start the discussion as all the meeting invitees have arrived’’ Priyanka broke Shivaay and Anika’s trance.

‘’yeah sure’’ Shivaay said and the discussion continued

Every member put up their points , and so did Anika. Anika was best at her work and everyone in the meeting room were impressed with the inputs she gave .Everyone included Shivaay too.

After few hours of discussion, the meeting finally ended and Shivaay got up to leave. Anika too stood up and looked at him. He stopped for a second , looked at Anika , and left with his attitude.

Anika took a deep breathe and all other members introduced themselves to Anika ..Priyanka and Omkara were also present. There were smiles, appreciations and talks.

———Shivaay’s cabin

‘’She is not bad. She is good infact very good…wait a min why am I thinking of her. She is just an employee Shivaay. Just ..an…employee..so..relax and concentrate. ‘’ he tried to calm himself
