Part 13

Scene 1

Rithik comes to his home and throws things in anger. Shivanya and Yamini come behind him.

Yamini: Shivanya, you go and talk to him. For now, he needs a friend and a partner to share things with. Go and talk…

Shivanya goes to Rithik’s room and sees all the things are scattered on the floor. She holds him, he hugs her and cries.

Shivanya: Rithik, come sit here. Please don’t do like this.

Rithik: I can’t be quiet. Mom has always been in pain for these years. She might smile but never been genuinely happy. I always thought of uniting mom with dad but after getting to know these things, it’s better she be alone in her life. I hope someone good person comes into her life.

Shivanya: I’m happy that you are thinking for her a lot. But please relax now. Aunty is more worried for you. I always loved your calmness but today you are losing that itself.

Rithik cries and lies on her lap. She caresses his hair and sings a lullaby. He sleeps. After sometime, she comes out and find Yamini sleeping and Neela sitting beside her.

Shivanya: Aunty…

Neela: Did Rithik slept?

Shivanya: Yes aunty.

Neela: Even Yamini has slept. Ok Shivanya you leave for home. I’ll be here.

Just then Avni and Janaki come there with food.

Neela: You bought food?

Janaki: Yes, we know, you all would not have cooked. So, I bought. I went your home first but Avni told that you are here. So, I bought food to you too.

Shivanya: Didi, Aunty and Rithik has slept.

Avni: It’s ok, you both have food. We’ll keep the rest in the fridge.

Neela: Avni, Janaki did you both eat?

Avni: Ha ma, we ate.

Neela and Shivanya sits to eat.

Neela thinks that Rithik and Yamini love each other a lot an Rithik’s secret of not being Yamini’s kid should not come out.

Avni: Ma, what are you thinking?

Neela: Nothing…

Just then Janaki gets a call from Rishabh and ask her to come home soon.

Janaki leaves.

Scene 2

Janaki comes to Rishabh’s house and sees everyone including Preetha, Srishti and Deewan there.

Janaki: Dadaji, you here?

Deewan: Yes beta.

Rakhi: Janaki, Sameer and Srishti wants to tell us something. So I asked him to call you too as you are the eldest bahu of this family and I want you to be in every discussion.

Janaki sees Rishabh and he nods…

Janaki: What discussion aunty?

Rakhi: Sameer and Srishti, go ahead.

Srishti: We both have decided to go out and do volunteering service.

Preetha and everyone are shocked.

Preetha: What? No way.

Srishti: Didi please, I can’t sit at home when everyone out needs help. It also gives me money.

Preetha: No need of money. I’m working nah, it’s enough.

Janaki gets irked hearing this.

Srishti: Didi, that won’t be enough. We always had this plan, right? Starting a NGO in the name of our parents? Let this be an initiative.

Sameer: Yes, until now, my both elder brothers have taken care of me. But I need to stand up for myself. Please allow us.

Rakhi: No, I won’t allow you both.

Deewan: Rakhi, wait a minute. Don’t scold them. Just think of this family’s genes. Bani has served the soldiers during world war II, Bani’s husband took part in the war, You and Mahesh served people during your every NCC programs in school and college. This helping tendency is in your genes. Please allow them. They are not kids. They are all responsible persons. So, please allow them.

Janaki: I agree with them. Aunty, please allow them.

Karan, Rishabh and Preetha are shocked to see Janaki taking their side. They three oppose but Sameer and Srishti somehow convinces them all!!!!

Janaki then leaves the home with a sad face. Rishabh notices this and goes to her.

Rishabh: what happened? Why you were tensed?

Janaki: Our office got shutdown.

Rishabh: What?

Janaki: Yes, all our jobs are at stake. So only I supported Srishti.

Rishabh: What are you ging to do now?

Janaki: I was planning to take a break; so, it doesn’t going to affect me. But it will affect Karan and Preetha a lot. I don’t know how they are going to handle it.

Rishabh: Did they both know this?

Janaki: No, they will get an official mail tomorrow.

Rishabh: Why are you crying?

Janaki: Being their hr manager, I always have saved them but this time I couldn’t.

Rishabh: This is not your fault. This corona is taking all the jobs. Please don’t cry.

He comforts her by hugging!!!

Scene 3

Sona gets a call from her producer that her show got ended due to lockdown.

Sona: Sir, is there any chance of reviving it after lockdown?

Producer: No Sonakshi, our serial has lot of elder and young kids acting. They are all worried now. We can’t run a serial with limited characters. So, there is no way than ending the show. And also, our TRP’s are down.

Sona: Sir but check in YouTube. Our episodes are gaining more viewers.

Producer: I spoke everything with them but the channel is not considering. The final full settlement will be done tomorrow.

He ends the call. Sona gets worried as she has taken a loan to buy this home and car. Seeing her restless, Suman comes to her.

Suman: Sona, we’ll sell this house. Anyhow you are going to get married. Only I’ll be here. I’m thinking of going to our old house in village.

Sona: Ma, we won’t sell it. It’s our dream. I’ll take care of everything.

Suman hugs her!!!

Sona: This mama bear hug from you is enough to keep me energetic.

Suman smiles….

Meanwhile, Rohit comes to Preesha’s house.

Rohit: Rudy, I’m so sorry to disturb you at this time, but I need to talk with Preesha.

Preesha comes.

Preesha: Bhai.

Rohit: Preesha, this is our lawyer.

Preesha sees him in an online call.

Lawyer: Rohit, Preesha you need to collect solid proofs against that doctors who are working there. Only then we can approach the court.

Rohit: Sure, we’ll do. They are killing people and doing some illegal business. We need to find that.

Preesha: Yes sir, we’ll find the proofs.

The lawyer ends the call.

Rohit: Preesha, tomorrow you are going to job, right?

Preesha: Yes bhai, I’ll start collecting proofs from tomorrow itself. Don’t worry.
