Part 12
Scene 1
The day before engagement day.
Everyone are doing their work. All gets tried and goes to sleep. Srishti has some work and she does it with Sameer’s help.
Srishti: Sameer, after the engagement, we need to tell our families.
Sameer: But I think they won’t approve it.
Deewan comes. They get shocked.
Srishti: Dadaji, you didn’t go home?
Deewan: What you people are discussing, because technically I’m your family too.
Sameer smiles.
Sameer: Dadaji, we have decided to go for volunteering work in covid affected areas.
At first, he gets shocked and disagrees but Srishti and Sameer convince him.
Deewan: You both are right. I’ll support you.
Srishti: Thank you Dadaji.
They both hug him.
Scene 2
The next day!!!
Janaki, Sona and Preetha are getting ready in that empty home.
Avni, Shivanya, Srishti helps them.
Suman, Rakhi, Veena, Neela and Yamini attend the pandit. They do all the arrangements. Preesha is shown running to the brides and to pandit. Rudy and Rithik attend all these guests. Chikoo is playing with kids. Neil ensures that everything happens following covid protocol. All are with masks. Sameer helps Rakhi, Suman, Veena, Neela and Yamini. All are super busy in the function. Dr.Neil and Ragini comes there. Rithik welcomes them and makes them sit. Yamini sees this and ignores.
Rakhi: Sameer, bring the grooms.
Sameer, Neil and Rudy goes to bring the grooms.
The grooms come to the stage. They all look super handsome.
They does the rituals.
Pandit asks the brides to come. Preesha goes to bring them.
She sees them and gets stunned.
Preesha: You three look like a diva. Come let’s go.
Preesha, Avni, Shivanya, Srishti bring Sona, Preetha and Janaki to the stage.
The grooms see them and winks at them.
They come and sit next to each other.
The guests praise all their pairs.
Deewan, Bani and Sukhmani bless them.
Pandit: The bride’s parents come forward and tie this to the groom.
Suman hesitates.
Sona notices this.
Sona: Ma, I want you to do this.
Suman: Sona…
Rohit: Aunty please, come and do. It will be incomplete without your blessing.
Veena nods to go.
Yamini comes for Janaki an ties thread to Rishabh. Suman ties to Rohit. Meanwhile Preetha is sad. Neela steps up and comes for the aid.
Preetha gets happy.
Neela: Hereafter I have three girls.
All smiles.
Preetha with teary eyes hug her.
Pandit: Next is ring exchange ceremony. All can exchange rings.
The three couples exchange the rings.
Preesha and Rudy gets their engagement flashback.
Rudy: Preesha are you getting our memories?
Peesha: Yes. Shall we marry again?
Rudy: Oh god……
Preesha: Why?
Rudy: No, I thought atleast for next wedding, I’ll get someone more beautiful than you.
Preesha pinches him.
Rudy: Sorry, sorry, sorry….
He hugs her.
All shower rose petals on the couples.
The engagement ends beautifully with photo sessions.
Scene 3
At night…
Neela talks to someone at the park. Dr.Neil eventually finds her and thinks to whom she is talking alone at night.
He hides and listens to her.
Neela(in phone): Did you find the boy?
Man: Yes mam, now he is studying in U.S. I have sent his photo.
Neela ends the call and see the photo and gets shocked.
Neela: Rocky…. this means Yamini has brought up Ragini’s lost son and also her…
Just then Neil comes, she gets shocked. She stammers.
Neela: Dr.Neil.
Dr.Neil: I heard everything. What did you meant by Yamini bringing up Ragini’s son?
Neela thinks that there is no use in hiding. She tells him the truth.
Neela: Your lost son was brought up by Yamini and he is now in U.S. His name is Rocky.
Meanwhile, Yamini and Ragini comes from either side. They both came by that way and after seeing Neela and Dr.Neil together, they came there.
Yamini: Rocky is….
Neela: Yes Yamini, just now I got confirmed.
Yamini gets shocked. Ragini cries emotionally hugging Dr.Neil.
Ragini: Neil, this means our son…
Yamini gets sad seeing them.
She video calls Rocky.
Rocky: Ma, is everything ok? You have called suddenly.
Yamini: Rocky, do you remember your parents?
Meanwhile the kids and elders come there…
Rocky gets flashes of his mom Ragini and dad Dr.Neil.
Rocky: Yeah, I remember a little.
Yamini: Here they are.
She shows them to Rocky. He gets clear flashes of them and calls them ma and papa.
Ragini cries and have an emotional conversation with him.
Rithik is dumbstruck. Shivanya also gets shocked.
Rocky: Yamini ma, every mother will tell the child about father. But today you have told me my both parents. Thank you so much. But I won’t leave you. You hold the first place in my heart.
Yamini kiss Rocky in the phone.
Neela sees them and smiles.
Rithik: Ma, I have not aske you this. But today I’m asking you. Who is my dad?
All gets shocked.
Yamini: I’ll tell you today. I’ll end my fear today itself. I can’t keep it in my heart daily.
Shivanya: Aunty, are you sure?
Rithik:You too know?
Shivanya nods.
Neela: Shivanya is right Yamini. Are you sure you want to tell him?
Yamini: Yes.
Yamini tells him about her story.
Rithik is shocked.
Rithik: Dad is so cheap?
Yamini: He is a good doctor, good friend and also a good husband to someone else.
Rithik: Who is he?
Yamini shows Dr. Neil.
All gets shocked. Rithik sees him with anger.
Ragini: One-minute Rithik. He is not your dad. The reports told that you are not his son.
Neela: Ragini, how insane are you? Even after these many years, you still blame her. The reports maybe wrong.
Ragini: My reports can never be wrong.
Dr.Neil finally breaks his silence.
Dr.Neil: Your reports are wrong Ragini. Those wrong reports has kept me far from my son.
Ragini is shocked.
Ragini: You are accusing me for her.
Dr.Neil: No, the truth is Rithik is my son. I confirmed it earlier.
He goes to Rithik and tries to hug him but he shoves of him.
Yamini: Rithik, this is wrong. He is your dad.
Rithik: Ma, he is a cheap man. I don’t want a dad like him. I don’t want this person coming to me calling me as his son.
Ragini: Rithik, mind your words.
Rithik: Oh mam, first you mind your words. You always thought of your pleasure. If you have thought as a girl, you would have stood with my mom but instead you slept with her husband and made him yours.
Yamini slaps Rithik and ask him to apologize.
Rithik: Look, this is my mom. She has brought me an also your son with love and care. She made your son to study whatever he wished. You should feel great to her. I have always thought of uniting mom with dad. But now, I feel she will be good if she is not with you. Mom come, let’s go.
Shivanya too leaves.
Everyone leaves. Dr.Neil sits and cries thinking of Rithik’s words!!!

P.S: Today there is no couple romance as I don’t know what to keep for their romance. So, I thought to proceed with the story.
