Hiten Tejwani Takes on the Complex Role of Avinash Sharma in ‘Pashminna’

Renowned actor Hiten Tejwani is set to bring the character of Avinash Sharma to life in the upcoming show “Pashminna – Dhaage Mohobbat Ke.” The series, a mesmerizing tale of love set against the breathtaking backdrop of Kashmir, revolves around the characters Pashminna and Raghav, played by Isha Sharma and Nishant Malkani.

While Pashminna and Raghav navigate their divergent perspectives on love, fate binds them together. Adding a captivating twist to the narrative, Hiten Tejwani steps into the shoes of Avinash Sharma, a character defined by self-centeredness and a powerful desire for control. Avinash shares a profound connection with Raghav, firmly convinced of his irreplaceable role within Raghav’s family.

Expressing his excitement about the role in a recent interview, Hiten Tejwani shares, “Embodying the character of Avinash is both thrilling and demanding due to the layers of ambition and manipulation. Playing a character with shades of grey is quite intriguing, offering a new experience for me and my fans who have not seen me in such a role on television before. Viewers can look forward to unraveling the truth about Avinash’s past and discovering the significant role Kashmir plays in his life.”

Notably, Hiten Tejwani is reuniting with his wife, Gauri Pradhan, for “Pashminna.” The duo, known for their successful collaborations in hit TV shows like “Kutumb,” “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi,” and “Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat,” as well as their participation in the dance reality TV show “Nach Baliye 2” in 2006, adds another layer of anticipation to the show.

Scheduled to go on air next month, “Pashminna” promises to be a compelling series with Nishant Singh Malkani and Isha Sharma in the lead roles.
