“A New Journey or??”
After 3 years:-
Riddhima looked at the hospital in front of her. The best hospital of Delhi and here she was after reaching to her goal, as a neurologists. Closing the cab’s door she reached to the entrace.
A New Day! Riddhima closes her eyes and brought a small smile on her lips. She looked around and found so many staffs present in front of her working. Passing a professional smile to them, she moved to the reception.
On seeing her assistant, Saira there she signed her to follow her to her cabin. She looked as the peon was standing in front of her welcoming her.
Reaching to her desk, she saw the board of her name kept on the table. Dr. Riddhima, A Neurologists. Yes, she had removed her surname, cause she don’t want her past to tag along with her dreams waiting for a moment to destroy them.
She looks as Saira entered in.
Saira: Good Morning Ma’am!!
She said in the same professional tone and passed her the reports of the patients.
Three years went since she had left the world which was harmful for her. Now living on her own terms were the only thing she is going to do. But Past, that can be ignored but we can’t forget it. It will be there along with us forever. Every second, every minute, every time. Waiting for a single mistake to be done so that it can cause a havoc in our present.
There in Mumbai, VR Mansion was not at all in peace. Each day, the walls would cry over the painful roar of Vansh Raisinghania and then would feel pity for Mr. Angre, his PA. Alas! He was the only one suffering from all this.
Vansh: Angre, stop giving me your f***ing excuses. I want to meet then tonight only or you would see the worst shade of me.
Angre who clearly heard his words for the umpteenth number of times was just standing and waiting for his change to speak, may be he got.
Angre: Boss, they have their personal reasons that’s why they have postponed the meeting.
He said sitting in front of him. Thanking his luck, that he was his old PA or adding late name before his name was not a big thing for Vansh.
Vansh: Whatever it is, I don’t care. They can do online too. What’s the issue?
Bowing his head, Angre nodded and turned to leave.
Vansh: Did I ask you to leave?
On which he took a deep breath and turned back making himself ready.
Vansh: What did the doctor say?
He heard him and then looked around.
Angre: Boss, the condition is getting worse day by day. You know it’s Brain cancer and it’s the second stage.
Vansh nodded and then ran his hands over his hair due to frustration.
Angre: Boss, I’m trying to search her. It will take some more time. I’m sorry.
Vansh saw him and then signed to leave. He was angry and didn’t willed to take it out again on someone. Already it has cost him a lot. Picking up the photo frame of their Mehandi, he remembered the last day she was with him. His name written on her palm. She was meant to be his.
One side of his heart, still made him think that he might have done wrong by revealing the truth to her. But one side of his heart said, he did right. It was good for everything to be revealed or they would have been repenting until now.
But how was he supposed to know that this will cost him this much. Closing his eyes, he remembered the day.
Flashback starts:-
Riddhima looked at them and felt jealous. Wiping her tears she left out of the Mansion knowing that now this time no one is going to stop her from leaving this cage. It was her chance to change her future rather than repenting on her past which was filled with darkness and curse.
Vansh saw her retreating figure and after a while released that she has left him. Running back after her, he reached to the entrance of VR Mansion. He saw her moving lifelessly while wiping her continuous tears. His heart ached seeing her leaving him.
“Riddhimmaaaa…….” He yelled but either she didn’t listened to him or she ignored him he didn’t know. He ran and finally was close to her when he couldn’t see her. He felt as if she disappeared that day.
Coming back tired, he could sense chaos even after there was no one in the hall. On knowing he got to know His Anu Mom had fainted due to weakness.
It was after two years when she was diagnosed with brain cancer and that too at the second stage.
Flashback ends:-
Opening his eyes, he kept back the frame and moved out of the study. On reaching the door of Anupama, he saw her sleeping through the window.
Aryan: She is sleeping due to medicine, rest Angre might have told you.
He heard Aryan’s voice and turned around.
Vansh: Yeah!
He said and looked as Aryan passed him a broken smile.
Aryan: That’s right, first you should be the one to commit mistakes then continue the act of caring about others.
He said and Vansh threw a deadly glare to him.
Vansh: What do I mean? I’m acting being worried for mom.
He said and then looked at him angrily.
Aryan: Of course you’re or you won’t have behaved like that with her daughter or you ex-fiancé.
Vansh gritted his teeth hearing him but before he could say anything he saw Dadi entering into Anupama’s room. He saw as Aryan left.
Turning back, he heard Anupama and Dadi conversation about Riddhima and slowly slowly thinking about everything a smirk formed on his lips.

The day went by everyone’s busy schedule, Same was with Riddhima. The work load didn’t let her think about anything of her past and she was glad about it.
Reaching to her apartment’s door, she pressed the bell. Waiting for Sejal to open the door, she exhaled a deep breath tired with a long day.
She smiled when Sanskar was the one of open the door for her.
Riddhima: You here?
She asked him as he side-hugged her.
Sanskar: Just a Surprise!
Passing a smile to him, she saw the dining table arranged with so many dishes. Her mind started to think about the day it was.
Riddhima: Is there something today?
She asked Sanskar who was eating an apple standing beside her and gave her a questioning gaze.
Sanskar: It’s a weekend. So!!
She said and looked at him confused.
Riddhima: Who is celebrating?
She asked in the same tone.
Sejal: Why? We all are
Riddhima nodded and then left to her room. Changing into something comfortable as a night dress, she took steps towards the dining table but saw a person who made her release the reason of weekend.
Riddhima: Oh, so it’s week-end.
She said sitting on her chair and saw Sejal glaring at her.
Riddhima: So Kabir, How are you?
She asked and looked at Kabir, Sejal’s boyfriend.
Kabir: I’m good. You?
He asked and got a smile from her. While they started talking about the day suddenly Kabir received a call.
Looking at them, he excused himself.
Kabir: Yeah, I’m here and the work will be done soon.
He said and waited for the other side to say.
Sanskar: Which work?
He heard and turned looking at Sanskar.
Kabir: My Boss, he is there. An arrogant person.
He mumbled in a low voice and saw him chuckling as soon as he left he came back to the call.
Kabir: After the weekend.
He heard the call getting disconnected and released the breath he was holding.
