“Devil or Angel”

Next morning

Ridhima opened her eyes only to find herself lying in vansh’s embrace . She thought about yesterday’s incidents and then remembered she was sleeping beside the bath tub itself so how come she came here.

“Don’t think much sweetheart” said vansh hugging her tightly .

Who brought me here ? Asked ridhima raising her eyebrows.

“U are asking like you don’t know still I am telling I brought you here .” Said vansh with still his eyes closed.

She was about to move when he held her hand “Give me my morning Kiss ..” said vansh still his eyes closed

What ? Asked ridhima.

“I said kiss me” this time little louder

He glared her and signed her to kiss him she forcefully moved towards him and gave a light peck in his lips . She was about to move when he pulled her more closer and started biting her lips he pinched her and she gasped taking the opportunity he entered her mouth after a good 2-3 minutes when she was breadthless he left her. A lone tear slipped from her eyes.

She looked herself and realisation hitted her hard that she wasn’t wearing the same clothes which she wore yesterday

Before she could ask anything vansh spoke” don’t think much Ms D’Souza changed ur clothes not me . Ridhima I haven’t done anything wrong with you till now but don’t do something which force me to do such things which I don’t want to do it with you. Don’t worry I won’t force you or do anything until you will respect me and my decisions. “

Ohh really than who kissed me forcefully that day? She asked him in a taunting way

“That day I was not in my senses you enraged me that’s why I did that..” said vansh .

“You said that you didn’t changed my clothes today but that day when I was drenched in rain you told me that”

I changed ur clothes I lied that day also Mrs D’Souza changed them “ vansh exclaimed.

Ridhima was lil bit shocked and
There was an awkward silence for 2-3 minutes when vansh spoke breaking the trance.

“Listen as your exams are approaching I have appointed a personal tutor for you she’ll teach you after aur Marriage and you can study whenever I am not at home. And ya your exams will be online so no need to worry much” Said vansh shocking ridhima to the core.

” Th..Thank y..ou “ She murmured and tried to get up ingnoring him when vansh pulled her towards him she was now upon him and they had an eyelock.

” Tring Tring Tring Tring… Tring Tring Tring Tring…”

Vansh’s phone rang and their eyelock broke he scrunched his eyebrows in irritation as because of this call his romantic movement git disturbed.

“Go and get ready from today aur wedding rituals are starting” he told in his as usual cold voice.

He excused himself from the room and went outside leaving a confused ridhima behind .

Ridhima took her clothes from the cupboard and went inside the washroom.. after 25 minutes she came out wearing a simple off-white kurti with some pattern on it and a salwar.
She sat on the bed and started thinking.

Ridhima’s POV

Yesterday I got engaged with the devil of my life who almost ruined it badly due to him I lost my self respect my freedom my friends and my so called family who never loved me only maa was the one who ever loved me but after that she also left me with dad she never ever came to meet me . I don’t even remember her face as dad burned her all photographs . I only remember that used to wear simple sarees adorned with vermillion and nupital chain and she used make a braid . I miss her very much I hope and prey that I can ever meet her again and cry in her embrace.

Yesterday I slept remembering her and when I woke I was sleeping in vansh’s arms I don’t know why I feel relaxed there when I should hate it. I was thinking how I reached there when vansh told me that he brought me on the bed . I saw myself and realisation hitted hard that I wasn’t wearing the clothes which I wore yesterday .

I was about to ask him when he cleared the fact that he didn’t changed my clothes. He assured me that he won’t do anything without my consent. I was and I am really very shocked he behaves strangely sometimes too nice and sometimes he behaves like a beast I am not able to understand him . I tried to exept my fate but I can’t exept it as am a rebel I can’t see anything wrong happening with anyone . The thing I hate the most about vansh is he always makes me feel that am not an free bird anymore he has bought my freedom he is my owner and am his slave .

Ridhima’s trances got broke with a knock on the door

“Bhabhi bhabhi please open the door… Said sia still knocking.

Ridhima stood up and moved towards the door and opened she saw dadi and sia all cheered and they were holding a plate covered with a cloth.

“Good morning bhabhi” said sia with a beautiful smile and same with dadi she also greeted Ridhima and entered inside the room .

Ridhima touched dadi’s feet and took her blessings.

“Ridhima beta yeh kuch kapde aur khandani gehne hai tumhari mehedi ke liye..” said dadi handling the plate in Ridhima’s hand .

” Me… mehendi dadi mai kuch… “ said ridhima but was cutted by dadi

“vo darasal kya hai na ki aaj se 2 din baad bohut hi shubh muhurat hai to shaadi uss hi din karni hogi kyuki uske baad shrad shuru ho gaye to diwali se pehle koi shubh muhurat nahi hai. To beta riwaz ke hisab se aaj mehendi aur kal haldi phir shaadi hai isiliye tum jaldi se taiyar ho jaye 1 ghante baad tumhari mehendi shuru hogi.” Saying this dadi caressed her face and passing a smile left from there.

“Bhabhi get ready soon and am sure bhai’s breadth will definitely stop after seeing you in this gorgeous outfit “ saying this sia winked at ridhima and left .

Ridhima closed the door and sat beside it she closed her eyes and tear drops fell from her eyes she got up and moved towards the bed and and took the dress in her hand and threw it on the floor..

“What the hell it is nobody cares about my emotions I don’t want to marry that monster … “

“You have to marry him” …………
