Himanshi Parashar, widely known as Sahiba in the series ‘Teri Meri Doriyaann,’ has become a household name through her role in the show. Sharing her journey from Punjabi films to debuting in the Hindi TV industry alongside Vijayendra Kumeria, she recently discussed her experiences, including facing the casting couch and her days of struggle, she revealed in a conversation.

Reflecting on her journey with ‘Teri Meri Doriyaann,’ Himanshi expressed her delight, sharing how the project felt like a dream come true. Initially focusing on Punjabi films, her unexpected entry into Hindi television was a significant turning point in her career.

Drawing inspiration from Manushi Chhillar, Himanshi shared her affinity for acting, which began with street plays and theatre during her school days. Although her career choice was unexpected, she cherished performing while studying pharmacy. Amidst financial challenges in Mumbai, she recalled days when she could afford only small shampoo pouches due to monetary constraints.

During the lockdown, while preparing for Delhi Police exams, Himanshi’s path toward acting took an unexpected turn when she met the makers of a Punjab TV show. However, she candidly discussed her unsettling encounter with the casting couch in the industry, highlighting the importance of not exploiting newcomers.

Sharing a crazy fan moment, Himanshi reminisced about an eerie encounter with a fan who followed her to her hotel after taking photos, leaving her unsettled.
