Where did Billuji go??” Anika wondered and kept waiting frequently looking at her watch.
Clock kept ticking by, 8, 9 and 10 finally. With her head resting on her knucles she was too pissed off now.
“He told me not to eat anything and look who came by having a feast and sitting all day in the restroom” she silent yells and rolls her eyes.
“Shivaaaayyy!!!! Why are you ruining my mood? The waiter has already recited the menu 20 times. What do i do??” She asks out loud.
“I cant believe my phone became dead today evening. Shit yaar!!! And i cant even order food. I left my purse home thinking my would-be boyfriend would pay me on our first date. Why did i fall for this guy haiyappa.. ” She starts cursing.
“Grrrrrr let me go check on him” she says and hesitantly goes to the gents restroom.
Guys there, starts checking her out in her breathtaking look. But she was feeling all uneasy with all the hawk eyes on her. She starts knocking on all the doors.
“Shivaay??” She calls everytime after knocking a door.
Suddenly a guy corners her. “So.. im your shivaay. Can we go now?” He dirty talks.
She jerks him away and stomps out. Now her anger knew no boundary. She decides to go back home but finds her scooty gone.
“Oh bete ki!!! He took the scooty with him? What kind of a gift is this? Handing it to me few hours back and snatching it away??” She screams and starts walking on the road.
She starts bargaining with a auto guy as always. And as always.. fails.
She starts walking back home. After a while her one side heel breaks.
“Arrrgghhhhh” she screams on the road gaining few weird looks from the strangers.
Finally she reaches home after 45minutes of walk. Her feets were red and her eyes were drooping of tireness. She sees shivaay talking with Vicky.
She takes the cup of water that was on the table and pours it on Shivaay’s face.
“Shivaay Singh Oberoi” she calls out with all frustration.
Shivaay was about to speak something when she signalled him not to.
“You finally Won! Last night i unconsciously did a prank and you sucessfully took revenge now. What do you think about yourself?? ?? Taking me to a far hotel and leaving me there alone? Seriously? This wasnt funny either. You left me there amidst hungry stalkers” she shouts on the top of her voice.
“Mere bath suno Anika” Shivaay interrupts.
She again starts with her tantrums “Do you know how uneasy it was for me to sit there for 4 whole hours”
She says.
“Oh! So visiting Advaay’s house alone and staying there for hours wasnt uneasy at all. But staying in a public place was. Is it?” Shivaay speaks out in frustration.
Anika widens her eyes. “Why is Advaay coming inbetween all of a sudden? She asked confused yet angry.
“Dont act smart. I know that you love that guy.” Shivaay says and looks away angrily.
Anika jerks here and there and finally picks up the nearby jug and splashes water again.
”You will always remain a duffer. You know what?? It was my mistake to plan to give you such a surprise today which you got it ruined! Just get lost ! I dont wanna look at your face anymore !!” She screams.
Shivaay gets all Hyper angry. “Well you know what?? Your tenant period ends in two weeks. Better you make a move now. GET OUT!!” He screams back.
Both Anika and Vicky looks petrified.
“Wait!! You read the papers??” Vicky says gasping.
“So this was gonna be your surprise??” Anika asked with a dead voice.
“JUST.. LEAVE!” He says biting his teeth.
She stomps in to her room and picking up her things from the cupboard she puts them in the trolley bag and walks out right infront of Shivaay and vicky.
“You will never know the pain im going through. You will never know the heart break im having now. You will never know what ‘dying inside’ means. You will never know me..” she says looking at shivaay.
With a lifeless reaction, shivaay drops a tear down and stands there without a word.
With tears filling her eyes she opens the door and makes her way out.
Shivaay drops down and starts sobbing. While Anika on the other hand was wiping her tears as well. She closes her eyes and the tear drop draws down her cheeks. She falls down as well, cups her face and cries.
It suddenly thunders and starts raining. She just kept crying loud.
“He went through a lot more pain than you” A voice comes from behind.
Anika, knowing it to be Vicky, “huh.. As if he had a heart attack” Anika mocks
“HE DID!” Vicky says widening Anika’s eyes
“He did have a heart attack. He did knew what pain was. He did knew what heart break is. He did knew what ‘dying inside’ is and he did knew… you!” Vicky says and Anika gets up hearing this.
Looking at Vicky as if expecting a answer, Anika was anxious.
“Sheryl” Vicky says and coincidentally the rain stops.
“We three were college mates. Sheryl was in the college band. Sheryl did the vocals and shivaay played the guitar. Shivaay fell in love with Sheryl. A whole of 5 years, They both were madly in love. They always bunked classes and were sometimes cuddling in our men’s hostel. I had never seen shivaay so happy like i saw him with Sheryl. It was all going fine until Shivaay decided to propose her. He was so excited and was telling it to me every second. He was literally jumping around in joy. He kept nagging me and ranting about how his proposal would be.. being on knees and making her wear those heavy diamond studded ring. He even planned to tatoo her name.
And the most awaited day came.. (faint smiles) or should i say The Black day of Shivaay’s life. Shivaay entered Sheryl’s house to surprise her with the spare keys he had.
Well, the shock, was for him. He saw her making out with some other guy. He came back lifeless and with some sort of unusual reaction. I was totally speechless seeing him like that. That’s the day i saw his smile totally vanishing. He never smiled after that.
Nor he laughed. Nor he spoke for a long time. Nor he cared.
Untill he told me that he applied Oinment on your bruise. He felt guilt, pain, and was caring. I literally saw a revive of the old shivaay i had seen 4 years back” Vicky says shocking the hell out of Anika.
Anika wasnt blinking. Hearing about Shivaay she just drop down again. Vicky comes and kneels down beside Anika.
“The next day after seeing her make out with some random guy.. Shivaay had a severe heart attack” Vicky says with a low tone. Anika was looking sad now.
“It took him 2 months to heal from the physical would. But 4 years to heal from the mental would. And about ruining your surprise.. Anika.. he saw Sheryl once again today. After 4 long dreadful years. I know, it must have been so hard for you.. but im really sorry from Shivaay’s side…” Vicky trails.
“We still have 2 weeks isnt it??” Anika asks fixing her gaze to something.
Vicky just stops with his talk and nodds. While Anika stands up and turns around. She walks back to the house and was about to open the door.
“Shivaay drinks only when he is in love!” Vicky says from behind.
Anika with shock clearly on her face and pulling out a smile from nowhere, turns back and looks at Vicky standing with his hands in his pockets.
“Just so you know!!” He adds with a smile.
Anika smiles wider and enters in.
Once inside, after seeing Shivaay kneeling down on the floor and bending his head down in guilt, “I still have two weeks as a tenant. So Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi. I. AM. NOT. LEAVING” she stresses the words and goes back to room hiding a smirk.
Shivaay gives back a smile and wipes away his tears.

?? Dont kill me. I had to bring in some sourness in the story guys.. it cant always be bed of rose petels right?? But as a discount i shrunk what-must-have-been-written-in-3to4-episodes to just 1 chapter. You’ll see some tashan romantic stuff from now on??
