Two such weeks passes by with Anika trying hard not to let her feelings spill before shivaay.
She ditched all his cooking classes and ordered the so called late delivery pizzas on Shivaay, Advaay and the new memeber of her target list Vicky’s name. She even tried staying inside the bathroom a whole saturday claiming she was not well. Bechari..
While on the other hand Shivaay tried to get near her as much as possible. He was indeed behaving like a love-struck teenager.
He stayed the same entire saturday outside the bathroom door knocking and enquiring whether she was alright every 10minutes.

It was a month roommate anniversary for them. Unlike other typical men, he actually remembered the date. Since it was a sunday,
She was as usual escaping from his sight. Shivaay was quite pissed off already.
He quickly remembers something.
Picking up a glass bowl full of popcorn he sits infront of the sofa, tuning the sound to the fullest..
“Ta da taannnnn.. kaisi yeh yaariyaan” shouts the Television.
Quickly opening the room door, she peeps outside with her loose hair covering her face.
Shivaay smirks noticing her in his peripheral vision. She tip toes to the hall and looking at the Tv,
“Hey we are serial partners remember? You dont ditch me like this and watch it on your own!” She snapped.
“Look who’s talking about ditching” he rebuked. Tightening her lips on the either side, she stood without a word.
“I dont know if it was just casual or if it was planned, but i sincerely feel that you are avoiding me. Are you??” He asks with a curious face.
She opens and closes her mouth to speak but words kept dying. “Your silence is killing me Anika” he says genuinely.
She widens her eyes and looks at him. “Did he just..” she was about to think something when he quickly realises what he blurted and added “as a friend”.
“Weren’t girls using this statement to friendzone a guy. ‘As a friend’ itseems. My foot.” She rolls her eyes.
“Even my enemy shouldn’t experience this shit. Getting friendzoned by the one you love” ?she thinks and nods to him with a faint smile.
He released the pause button and she just jumps to the sofa in excitement.
It wasnt just 3° misplaced now. A bit more it must be… but to the shock, shivaay just smiled and looked at her as she sat beside him in her sweaters and shorts.

Munching in the popcorn, she was so engrossed in the serial. While he was totally lost in her antics.
Suddenly a funny scenes comes by. Anika just couldnt stop her laughter. She laughs so heartily and unknowingly slides and keeps her head on the right arm of shivaay and continues watching. While shivaay was blushing so hard.
Anika kept stuffing her mouth with popcorn. Untill she gets hiccups. Shivaay quickly takes the nearby glass and brings it near her mouth.
Instead of grabbing it, she leaned forward and started gulping it. It was as if shivaay was feeding her. Still she wasnt aware.
Next comes a romantic scene, Manic Malhotra was kissing on Nandhini murthy’s cheek.
Anika was just Admiring Their love story, but little did she know she was building one here, right now for herself.
Anika unconsciously holds Shivaay’s right hand and blushed. Her whole concentration was on the tv screen. Poor shivaay was forced to experience their real life love scene Alone!.
After the show got over, she asked him to switch to any song channels.
“Please.. i dont want you to turn on any news channels. Areyy keep 9XM no.. nahi nahi.. keep zoom channel” she asks adamantly.
He sighs and does as she says.
Advertisements were going on.
“Kya apne kabhi online hotel search kiya hai??” She imitates the Trivago guy and laughs.
“Kya aapke toothpaste mein namak hai??” She imitates again and laughs.
Finally ads get over and some random songs were playing. She still wasnt aware that her head was on his arm. It gets late and when finally shivaay feels sleepy he turns down to see an already sleeping Kumbhkaran.
He smiles and slowly taking her in his arms he takes her to her room. Gently placed her on the bed.
He cant help but smile at her beauty. He sits beside her on the floor and keeps looking her for a while.
He was about to yawn but shuts his mouth quickly before he disturbs her. Smacking the back of his head he smiles for being in love all over again.
He slowly covers her with a duvet and brushes her hair.
“Thankyou Gauri” she says making him smile again.
“Happy one month Roommate anniversary” he whispered back just so she doesnt hear him. He tip toes to his room silently.
It was late the next morning. She was too late for work. Quickly pulling her heels on one hand she was taking out folders from a drawer in the other hand.
She had made herself a toast and omellete. A bunch of papers was under her left arm and she was quickly gobbling the toast in her right hand.
Just when her pony tail’s rubberband snapped and her hair was let loose by itself and was irritating the already late Anika.
“Grrrrrr… shit!! Why does always my sheela gets snapped??” She screams.
“Sheela?” Shivaay asks raising his eyebrows.
“Haan.. meri rubberband. Sheela” she says with a ‘obviously’ kind of look and shrugs her shoulders.
“Mad, you are totally mad” he says rolling his eyes.
“Arrrgghhh.. these hair strands are irritating” she says as she was trying hard to swing them away, amidst eating and holding the bunch of papers close under her arm.
Shivaay just smiles seeing her pity state and walks to her room and brings back another rubberband along with a comb.
He tucks her hair behind her ears first and then gathering all the hair strands together he combs it. Anika was just speechless.
“Oh Allah jesus krishna.. why is this man always setting major boyfriend goals?? And it’s fate that im still his so called friend” she whines in her mind.
He pulls it up for a pony and ties the rubberband. Grabbing her shoulders “you are ready to go!” he says and pats on her shoulder.
She smiles to him and quickly runs out to take a Auto.
“Wait! Let me drop you. With you and your bargaining skills you’ll definetely reach your office next monday” he says earning a irritated glare from Anika.
“Fine. But drop me in Advaay’s house before going to Office. I really need to see him for a personal work. Pleasee!!!” She pleads.
“Ek kaam karo.. my car is punctured. Offoooo… i remember only now.. please take a taxi and go anika please..!” He says and closes the main door before she replies.
“He was jumping to drop me the first second and now he wants me to take a taxi. This guy will definitely make me go crazy one day..” she thinks the first minute and the next minute she remembers that she already is and smiles.
“Auto!!” She calls out and starts bargaining as usual.
“Drop her to advaay’s house itseems. Fhat the wuck?? Am i her driver? And a personal matter itseems. Go!! Who wants to speak to you.. not me! As if im dying to hear what you wanna say..” He speaks loudly in the empty house which he believed it to be.
“Tell me that you arent dying to hear it?” Vicky comes from behind with a teasing tone.
“I do!!!!!” Shivaay whines and cups his face.
