After her nails were painted he gently bent down and blew on them. Needn’t say more.. This sent chills through her spine.

She shut her eyes and felt his breath on her feet skin. And before he could realise she petended to be normal.

“You’re ready?” He asked her facing her toes at first and then raising his chin, he found out that she was more than ready.

Her messy bun, minimal makeup, dove hazel eyes, curved up nose, pink plumpy lips were more than enough to show that she was ready.

“I guess so!” She says and tucks her hairstrand behind her ears and looks at him.

“Hey wait a second!!! Did you dye your hair????” She suddenly freaks out of nowhere.

“Yeah! You only told me that i have a few white hairs. I cant go like that to my date” he says with narrowed eyebrows.

“Whatever be it. But dyed your hair on your date?? Ridiculous.” Anika says and rolls her eyes.

Shivaay pulls his chin muscles down and feels awkward.

“Atleast set your hair right” she says and nears him close, tip toes up, and hand-combs his hair.

Shivaay kept looking at her while her attention was on his hair. His eyes were completely on her, not leaving a second.

He was drowned in her looks and unconsiously, he held her bare waist.

She jerked and looked at him now. The hands that she was using to set his hair gently, made its way down and placed it on his chest.

“Shivaay” She whispers.
“Hmm??” He humms back.

After a pause, “you still have white hairs, gandhiji” she says and ruffles his hair. Before he could realise what she did, she hops away escaping from him to her room with a loud laughter.

“Anika!!! Tum be na..” he says faking a frown and once she’s out of sight, he smiles. He knew she was the first one to touch his hair and leave without getting her hair squeezed with ketchup.

He sets his hair again and gets ready.
Both stepped out of the house by 6:45 and Anika took the front seat beside him.

Trying to break the silence, Shivaay coughed.

“Not so loud. Even if you want to sneeze, do it silently. Girls dont like loud noises” Anika instructs.

“Fhat the wuck? I cant even sneeze freely in this independent nation. Dating girls is very hard yaar” he sighs while she chuckles.

After reaching the spot, Anika runs around the car engine and quickly informing him ‘Ill be in Room no: 507’ she tries to run away.

“Anika wait !” Shivaay says and quickly grabs her wrist in the nick of time.

Her heart skipped a beat still facing the other side. She slowly turns around and looks at him.

“Wish me luck” He says with a mended voice not letting it to break.

Faking a wide smile she turns around to him, “Everything will happen as per your heart’s desire” she says and taps his hand which he had locked with her’s and assures him that things will work out well.

She loosens her hand from his’s and runs inside the hotel. He breaths out a sad sigh and walks in like a zombie, not too interested in the Date.

A hour later, Anika was rolling on the bed holding her head. “What would have happened?? Did they hug?? Or or DID THEY KISS?? Shivaay wouldnt have kissed im sure. He’s not that expressive or romantic, so he definitely wouldnt havent kissed. So no problem.
Problem?? Why would i have a problem with it?? Chii no no..” She self assures.

Another hour later, “He still hasnt returned!!!! It’s just a date. Not that she is his wife.. why is he taking so long?? Argggghhh Or……. NOOOOOOOOO DID SHE TAKE HIM TO ANY OTHER ROOM??” Her jaw drops to the floor and she kept swirling on the floor all frustrated.

She finaly decides to peep. Quickly grabbing her sling bag and adjusting her messy bun she locks the room and with her sneakers she galloped to the terrace where usually the candle light dinner happens.

Her eyes were rummaging through the couple of tables to finally find him with his forehead resting on the table. She looked for Nainika but it ended in vain. She was nowhere to find.

“Maybe the date didnt work out.” She says out but with a sad note. She felt really sad for shivaay and a guilt was felt inside her heart. “Maybe my thoughts to get the date ruined got him this!?! She sighed sadly and baby-walked to him.

“Shivaay im so sorry it didnt work out. Dont feel for it. Well she wasnt lucky enough to get you. Dont worry buddy!! Tumhara life safe hai… no marriage for a while now.. come on man.. cheer up.. no commitments no complications yaar…” She tries hard to console and cheer him up but he gives no reponse.

“Areyy..Dont be such a loser. You cant keep worrying for a date” She says this pretty angry now.

“Areyyy.. atleast tell me what happened???” She asks and wiggles him up to see a slurpy and drunk shivaay.

“Daaru???” Anika was shocked.

Shivaay gives her a wide smile showing all his teeth “Haan Anika.. Sharabh hai” he says followed by a hiccup.

“You ruined it?” She shouts earning a glance from all the couples around.

“blo*dy hell. Everything happened perfectly until you spoiled it!!!! She shouts again. Now a man in his formal suits and matching blazer enters with a stern face.

“Excuse me madam, we beleive that the other people here are disturbed by the noises we here from this table. We prefer you make a move” He says and receieves a deadly glare from Anika.

“Shup kar Anika. See, Manager uncle is angry now (Shivaay pinches the cheeks of the man) chalo.. lets make a move” He says and starts moving his hands in the air making new dance steps, making anika and the manager do a facepalm.

Anika drags him out with one of his arms around her neck. And once reaching the room.

“How much have we practised for the date?? You could have been in control. You have drunk as if you are gonna die tomorrow” she was all angry but silent yelling with concern.

“I did exactly how you taught me!” He finally speaks up.

“Acha?? Did i teach you to drink till you are fully high?” She spat out.

“Nooo.. about the dance… we were dancing really well. She was amazed by my dance. Infact i guess Michael Jackson’s spirit went inside me at that time!” He says with a wide smile again.

“I dont believe you!” Anika says and was about to turn away with her folded arms.

“You want proof??” He asks as he pulls her closed by pulling her elbow. Her back was facing him.

With deepening breath, “hmm” she hummed anxiously.

“Let me show you” He whispers in his s*xy voice from behind in her ears and starts dancing with her all the steps they have practised.

Atlast Grabbing her hip with one hand making her arch back and slowly makes her comes up and with only an inch away proximity, he loosens his hand from her waist and twists her hand behind her.

“Did you like it?? He asks. On the other hand Anika was all breathing heavily and loosing her senses in his proximity. “Hmm” she humms unknowingly but subconsciously.

“See even my dosthi.. you like it.. Wo na.. wo Nainika.. she is such a tasteless creature. I guess i didnt have any effect on her” He says out of frustration and faints on the bed.

Anika was standing there all breathless and clueless to what phase of crush she has newly entered to.
