Shivaay peeps from the kitchen to see Anika standing with a clueless reaction.

“Anika. It’s 9. Ready for your cooking class?” Shivaay was hell excited for their first class together.

Anika physically nods but mentally she was ready to face something else.

“Today we are making Pancakes” Shivay says with folded arms. Anika just smiles and shivaay notices this.

“So why is Ms. Ranting queen speechless today? Any fasting?? (She shakes her head for a NO) Well definitely not!! So what’s cooking in your brain now ??” He was curious.

With a poker face, Anika avoids an eyecontact.

Shivaay nears her and raising her chin with his hand, “Hey.. remember Step2 ?? I care for you Anika. I really do. Just tell me if something is bothering you.. okay??” He says.

Anika smikes back. “Im fine. I just miss being home. Me and Gauri used to cook together. Actually she used to cook and i used to help her.. you know.. lighting the stove, cutting vegetables, reading the recipes. We sometimes used to fight in kitchen and end up dumping ther flour on each other’s head.

Shivaay chuckles. “Even i miss my brothers. We used to cook together too. We had Obro moments. And even priyanka, the pehelwan used to draw on our faces when we are fast asleep” He says and smiles reminiscing his memories.

Anika adores him and later licks her lower lip, “So?? Can we cook? It’s quarter past 9 already” She says and raises her eyebrows.

They both were quite engrossed in cooking. Shivaay had asked Anika to mix the flour with sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda while he was busy making the other mix of butter, milk, egg and vanilla.

Anika was just a child in the kitchen. She wasnt that an expert with mixing flour. The slab, her face, the floor everything had flour smeared on it.

Shivaay, the cleanliness freak he usually is, was just admiring her and the mess she was creating.

“Garland in Anika’s hand!” Shivaay says and controls his laughter.

Is that not..”Garland in monkey’s hands??” Anika cross questions with a pout.

“Both are the same. Just came up with a ready-made proverb like yours” Shivaay says and laughs. While anika rolls her eyes.

“One of the basic rules in cooking, is that you should keep your kitchen clean all the time” He says and starts blowing, cleaning and rubbing the flour off the slam and floor.

Shivaay’s face had flour on it now. Anika looks at shivaay and he innocently raises his eyebrows back.

She chuckles and nears him.
His smile changed into confusion. His heartbeat started raising, His breath was deepening.

She cups his face, rubs off the flour on his cheeks and smiles. Infact she wasnt thinking about her crush at that moment, and it was just a friendly act.

But when shivaay’s blue-green oceanic eyes looked into her hazel’s, it wasn’t friendly anymore.

There assumed silence. His eyes kept Oscillating to both her hazel orbs. Her touch was doing something. Something! Something that he has never felt before. Something that errupts volcanoes in his heart. Something that sent chills through his spine.

“Ahem ahem” comes a voice.

Both coming out the trance saw Vicky looking at them with folded arms and raised eyebrows. It was clear that he was expecting a valuable explanation.

“Errr.. Heyyy!!! Vicky’s here!!” Shivaay calls out diverting the topic.

“So what’s cooking?” He asks eyeing at Shivaay and Anika.

“We are cooking!” Anika says with a smile without realising his question.

“I can see that” Vicky says giving Shivaay a naughty smile. Shivaay smacks on Vicky’s back when Anika was was not facing them.

“What was that sound?” Anika asks.

“Nothing! A mosquito was sitting on his back” Shivaay says while vicky was squealing in pain rubbing his back.

“Sorry guys! My house is being renovated. So i was hoping that ill stay with Shivaay this week. You dont mind na… Anika ??” Vicky asks grabbing his ears.

“Not at all, vicky. Actually its good. I’ll be going out tomorrow. And i was wondering who’ll teach him the romantic moves. Good thing you came!” She says shocking Vicky and an embarrased Shivaay.

“Romantic moves ?? So that’s what you were teaching Shivaay when i entered??” Vicky asks now embarrassing both Anika and shivaay.

Shivaay drags Vicky to his room and explains everything that happened.

With a huge jawdrop, “Soo, Oh My Mata came home and Anika stayed 4 hours in her cupboard starving???
(Shivaay nods)

“Anika is training you for your date night? (Shivaay nods)

“Shivaay and Nainika…. Shivika??”
(Shivaay nods again)

“Why do i get the feeling that it is Shivaay and Anika.. Shivika!” Vicky says with a genuine smile.

Shivaay rolls his eyes. “Dont you have any other job than pulling my leg?? Shivaay sighs.

“Hey. Seriously!! I can feel that spark between you two. You.. you were just drowned in her eyes when i saw you few minutes back.. and and.. she stayed 4 hours inside a cupboard for you.. need to say more ??” Vicky argues back.

“Just keep guessing thing.. But that’s what friends do. If you dont believe me.. i dont care.. but i guess we should go before she burns my kitchen” Shivaay drags Vicky back to the kitchen but the stuffs Vicky told him kept him thinking.

“I seriously doubt you guys” Anika says with narrowed eyes. “I’ve told you already that we are straight!” Vicky justifies.

“But i seriously doubt you guys too” Vicky mutturs under his breath audible to shivaay. Shivaay hits him with his elbow.

“We’re having Maggi today!!!!” Anika screams expressing her excitement.

Vicky and shivaay gives her a weird look. “Dont worry!! That the only thing i cook properly” She says and winks.

After dinner having a small chit-chat they dispersed to their rooms. Anika to hers and vicky to shivaay’s.

Next day, it was a calm and pleasent friday, untill 6:37pm when Anika returned back home from work and said that she’s heading out instead of teaching him the dance steps.

“Why would you promise me such things and ruin it later. I have my date day after tomorrow and i know nothing about dancing. If only Michael Jackson was my uncle i would have known” Shivaay was hell angry.

“Just because i promised you doesnt mean i should be around you all the time. I have an important person to meet today. Please understand. Vicky will teach teach you” Anika replies.

Vicky who was looking at both of them simultaneously seeing them argue, “hey.. Michael Jackson is not my uncle either. I dont dance. Wait.. i know one step” Vicky says and dances one of the worst steps.

“Eww ewww eww… vicky!!! Dont call that a step!” Anika says with a disgusting reaction.

“Fine!! fine!!.. i’ll teach you. But just give me another 2 hours. I’ll meet him and come” Anika says and rushes out without even listening to the reply.

“Him??” Shivaay mutters silently.

“Must be her boyfriend” Vicky says giving Shivaay a look from the corner of his eye.

“Huh?” Shivaay asks with disbelief clearly striking his voice and eyes roaming everywhere wanting to believe that it’s not true.

So were you guys expecting the jealousy today? Haha ? that’ll happen on the next chappy for sure. So tomorrow gonna be my first day at college. So it’s reallr tough for me to say that my updates wont be regular from now on for nearly a week or so until i get comfortable with new surrounding. Sorry ?? but will try my best.
