Anika wakes up and finds shivaay missing. Pulling her sleeves up and holds her hips “Shivaay!!! This guy is irresponsible”, she says.

Quickly freshening up and jumping into her casual wear, she hires an ola auto and reaches Shivaay’s place in no time.

She opens the door with a force and everyone looks at her.
“Hehehe (she awkwardly smiles). Shivaaaayyyy???..” She calls and he who was bending down the common table and collecting all the shattered papers, looked up with a bunch of papers clutched in his mouth.

“Awww” she whines seeing him so cutely with papers in his mouth.

“Awww??” Everyone of the firm asks with a teasing tone.

Realising that she was actually in his office, “Err.. Mr. Shivaay. We have to go.. remember??” She asks biting her teeth but faking a smile.

“Now??” He asks confused.
“Nahi.. after your grandson gets married. Duffer, NOW !!!” She silent yells.

He nods quickly and excuses himself for a minute. He hops to his cabin and gets things informed with his PA what had to be done and moves out.

He clicks his car keys and “beep beep” goes the sound.
Anika throws a annoyed look and grabbing his hand, “We are walking our way” She says shocking shivaay.

Before he could could open his mouth.. “Mr. Shivaay singh oberoi.. i know you weren’t used to walk. But i heard you talk to your mother that you wanted to stand on your own legs. So chup kar, be a Man!! And walk with you own legs with me!” She nearly orders.

He just smiles and does as she says.
They both roam around the streets of Bangalore for a perfect outfit for the date night.

Shivaay tries to enter a Blazer shop while anika pulls him out.
“Are you attending any official meeting and going to talk about share markets?? Idiot.. we are buying you some casual outfit” she says and pulls him into a streetwear shop.

Once his outfit is decided, “okay.. chalo.. we can leave!” She says and sighs in happiness.

Shivaay suddenly grabs her waist and pulls her closer. “We aren’t leaving before we buy a dress for you also, are we?? He asks quickly grabbing an eyelock.

” Why… why do i.. need an outfit?” She stammers.

“Kyunki.. tum.. you are coming with me to my date.” He says and pokes her nose.

“Me? Why me? It’s your date buddy. Not mine” She says and flips her hair.

“It’s ours” he slips his tongue.

“Mera matlab he .. Since you are planning this thing for me.. you are a part of the plan and since i mess up thing too soon i need you beside me to help me out. Please dont say no!” He pleads.

“Okay fine. But i wont enter the hotel with you. Ill stay in some other room there and help you out. You know… i cant sit in your lap and help you out. Sometimes you need to manage it yourself” she says in a serious tone.

So they soon enter a ladies section and chose her outfit.

Once they head out, Anika rubs her stomach and silently walks without a word.

Shivaay notices this.
“Hungry…” he trails.
“Jii.. nahi.. im not hungry” she rebukes.

“No no… im hungry.. so shall we go somewhere and eat?” He offers hiding a smile.

“Pheww.. good thing he asked. Im hungry as hell” she thinks and gives a  smile as an answer.

They reach a restaurant. Since it was late already, tables were totally empty. They were finding a good place to sit. The waiter comes there with a unusual smile and asked them to sit in the corner table with beautiful orchids decor.

Something was weird. All the staffs and the manager was looking at their direction. Giggling and gossiping.

They were served with a champaign at first, And the waiter left the spot without taking the orders.

“Weird, totally weird” Anika thinks to herself.

“Maybe they’ll serve us food only after champaign i guess” Shivaay tells Anika.

They both smile and gulp the champaign slowly.

Suddenly Anika chokes as she had her last gulp and takes something out of her mouth.

It was a BEAUTIFUL single stone diamond ring. AN ENGAGEMENT RING!



She looks at the ring and then at shivaay. While shivaay was busy tasting his glass of champaign. She was hell shocked.

Suddenly everything looked beautiful for her. The decor, the place, the fragrance, and HIM. She was gathering herself up while still her knees were feeling weak.

She was breathing all unevenly. Her eyes was totally fixed on Shivaay. Unknowingly a smile slipped her lips and eyes started to well.

Just when she felt someone signalling her on her peripheral vision.
She peeped behind shivaay to see the waiter apologizing badly to her.

He signals Anika that the Ring was actually to the other couple who entered a while ago. Before the scene turned upside down, the waiter silently came beside her and took away the ring from her hands and moved away.

She was totally flabbergasted.
Like her world got lit up the first second and as if an earthquake occured the next second.

They were soon taken the orders and after it was served. Shivaay was indeed relishing the dishes while anika was grubbing the plates with not a single morsel reached her mouth.

Shivaay found her disturbed and waved his hand before her. She jerked and faked a smile.

“I dont feel like eating” she says and walks to the washroom. He was worried for her. Even he stood up in the middle of his meal and walked her home instead.

Once they reached home,
Shivaay grabbed her shoulders and looking into her eyes “I know something is troubling you.. just share it to me as a friend. Talk to me Anika!!” He says and tightens his grip on her shoulders.

She just couldnt speak up. With her head falling down she starts sobbing and hugs him tight.

“How do i tell him that he is the one troubling me. And as a friend? I guess that wont be possible anymore. I cant believe im having my first crush on Shivaay” she thinks.

Shivaay hugs her tighter out of concern and brushes her hair.
“Dont worry. Everything will be alright!” He whispers in her ears and consoles her.

“Nothing’s gonna be alright from now on. I was totally alright untill i saw the ring. I know it wasnt mine. I know he isnt gonna be on his knees with a ring anytime for me. I just wanna erase the last one hour of my life. God save me” She screams inside her mind.

And i have a happy news to share.
I’ve gotten into the college ive been waiting for. ?really happy. But immensely tensed too. The college started already and im entering late. I just hope i cope up soon and have time to upload my updates.. will try my best to be regular. I really have to say.. this 4 months of holidays i haad is indeed the best phase of my life. I got to write and gather a lot of readers. Will love you till eternity guys ?? i mean it !
