Here’s why Namish Taneja is not a wild card entry in BB 16

Like every year Bigg Boss 16 is a reason for lots of ‘shor’ in the telly town. All eyes and ears are stuck to the contestants of this controversial house looking for some spilled beans. And well, everyone here is an expert on making molehills out of nothing.

In the show it is almost time for the wild card entries to make their way into he house. While the promos featuring Sreejita De and Vikas Manaktala have got everyone excited, recent reports suggested that Swaragini fame Namish Taneja will be making his way to the house too. However, in a recent interaction with Etimes,  the actor has denied being a part of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.

Namish Taneja has said no to Bigg Boss for now. The actor opened up about the same and said: “I said no this year because all my well-wishers and my fans want me to join the show from the start of the season as a full-fledged contestant, not as a wild card, so that I can display my real self to the audience by taking my time.”

When asked Namish about doing Bigg Boss in the future, he says, “Maybe or maybe not, it all depends on my further projects and the right timing, because there are many more things lined up in the future, and if the dates collapse then it would be very difficult for me to go in the house, but if everything works perfectly then I will definitely do it.”

Ask Namish if he would have done the show this year if offered from the start, and Namish tells, “No, because I was signed for one project, but unfortunately that project got delayed.”

Namish also talked about his favourite contestant this year and whom he wants to see win BB 16. He utters, “Nimrit and Shiv are my favourite contestants this year, and I want to see Nimrit as the winner of this season.”
