Chakor pov
I run behind him into the entrance of the ground. Ragini stood there with the gun in her hands, ready to shoot Suraj. The goons dragged Suraj in the centre of the ground and chained him to a pole. How can I see him get shot like this I have to do something but what??? The villagers are all cheering so they aren’t going to help him. Tears started flowing through my eyes as I stood frozen there not able to move.
“Suraj bhai, today is your last day, don’t you have any last wishes”
Let me go, ragini” Suraj said angrily.
“I am sorry but that wish is unavailable.
She aimed her gun while drums drummed behind. She started pulling the trigger. I had to do this. I ran toward Suraj as fast as I could which was easy since I was the most closest to him. The bullet started toward Suraj. I ran up to Suraj and stood in front of him.
“Noooooo, chakor get out of the way” Suraj yelled as he tried to push me but it was too late. The bullet came fast and hit me in the shoulder. I had been shot. I didn’t feel the pain before but now the pain was growing every second. I closed my eyes.
Suraj kneeled down and requested me to get up. Everyone comes close to me and start yelling and shouting in worry. The last thing I remembered was getting carried in Suraj’s strong arms.
That is all for today guys. I really wanted to write more but I am going to Toronto for some days so I will publish soon in Toronto. I promise the next update will be much much longer than this one.
