I woke up due to the sound of my phone ringing.f**k.I looked at clock to see it’s just 6 a.m.Who the hell is calling me at this time.Picking up my phone I saw Rohit’s name flashing on my phone screen.Shit!!! How could I forget about it? Calm down sanky…act cool.I took a deep breath and received the call.
‘Hey buddy,what’s up.I hope you were awake before I called you.’
‘Yeah I was.Btw why did you call…you should be busy dude. After all it’s your wedding man.’
‘You must be kidding me. Don’t you think you should be here. You had told me last night that you would be coming at my place in early morning, hadn’t you?’
‘Okay okay I will be there in one hour ‘
‘Good. Now get off your lazy ass and be here in time.’
Sigh.How could I forget it.Its the best day of his life!! He is getting married to his love.How important this day is to him!!! What kind of a friend am I !!

Meeting him I congratulated him and started looking if his parents want any help.I was talking to his parents when the bride came.She was looking adorable in her wedding dress and when her eyes met Rohit’s eyes they immediately sparkle.He winked at her and the blush on her face deepened.
My mind went back to past memories…. memories of her…. memories of us spending time with each other….her blushing at my compliments…. memories which only I had ….which are the reason why I am still alive….if aren’t for these memories I might have been dead long ago….
I felt my cheek wet that’s when I realized I had been crying the whole time.f**k.I should wipe it and clean my face before anyone could see me in this vulnerable state.I went to a random room and the moment I entered it I regret my decision of entering that room.
Some girl was trying to tie the knot of her choli.
Shit!!!! I quickly closed my eyes and was about to exit the room when her voice reached my ears.
“What the hell are you doing here?”
I stopped dead in my tracks.
“Swa…..swara”
