Chapter 8
Naira’s love realisation.

Naira and Karthik were sitting in a cafe. She had called him to tell him the truth.

“Go Naira. This is the best chance to clear all the misunderstandings with Karthik.” her mind said.

“Good morning”said Naira starting the conversation.

“Good morning”Karthik said in a pissed off tone.

“What happened ?!!” she inquired.

“Nothing.” he replied.

“You cannot hide it from me”she said sternly and Karthik looked at her breaking his resolve.

“Actually I lost you. Your memories. My love. How could I do that ?!! I lost the diary which contained you. The moment when I saw you, the feelings that I felt for you. The moment when I saw you and fell for you. I loved you from the first sight. I wanted to spend my entire life with you. When you were not with me and with your other guy friends I used to feel jealous.I could do nothing but only sit and stare at you. When you said you loved someone else, I lost the hope of getting your love. All of it and much more was written in the dairy, but I lost it. I am sorry for losing your memories.” He said in a single breath.

Naira was stumped at his raw display of emotions. He was so tensed about loosing a dairy that had his feelings for her written in it. She wondered the depth of his feelings for her.

“Do you really love me so much ?!!”,she asked.

“More than anything else”,he replied sincerely looking her in the eyes.

Naira smiled and took out the diary from her bag and handed it to him.

“Where did you get it ?!!”, he asked as an instant smile crept up on his face when he saw the dairy.

“You dropped it yesterday. I thought it was important so kept it with me.” She said with a small smile.

“You have no idea how much important this dairy is to me.” He said gleefully as he checked the dairy for any damage.

It was 12:30 at the night. But she is still awake thinking of what trick life is playing with her. She wanted to tell everything to Karthik ,but she could not. How could she ?!!

She had witnessed how depressed he was just by the thought of loosing a dairy that had his feeling for her. Ho would he react when he comes to know what gamble she has played !!

Karthik’s words “I love you more than anything else” are constantly rotating around her mind.

“God what is happening with me ?!! Why I felt bad when he is sad ?!! Why I asked him that question ?!! Why ?!!” she held her head and mummered.

Your heart loves Karthik, admit it her heart answered. Don’t be selfish and use him for your means. He is a pure soul and loves you truly. He would be hurt when he comes to know that you used him to get rid of Rithvik.

Naira started to wonder whether she also loved Karthik. Why is she soo worried about him getting hurt.

Don’t you know what had happened to you earlier asked her subconsious. She went in a flashback where Rithvik had tortured her under the name of love.

Karthik is not like Rithvik. He loves you from the core of his heart. You had read his diary right ?!! Don’t you feel the warmth in his words ?!! Her heart answered her mind’s questions.

Finally she said out loudly ”Yes !! I Love You Karthik !!”

Yes !! Finally Naira is in love. It sounds so crazy. Even she is crazy. She was shouting at the top of the voice that she loved Karthik. Her Karthik. Who loved her back.

Love was in the air. Everything around her had changed. Suddenly the night air was more cooler and the moon seemed to be fuller.

She decided to tell him all that she had in her heart tomorrow. Yes, she would tell him how much she loves him and how important he was for her.
