The Heart that Beats for you by Vrushy ( Chapter 6 )

Hello Everyone.
Chapter 6
I love you !!

“Whom ?!!” Rithvik asked.

“Karthik !!” Naira answered.

Rithvik released his grip from her hand and went away. Naira looked at his disappearing form and was relieved. She turned around and was shocked to see Karthik standing in front of her.

Had he heard what she had just said ?!! She worried anew. Naira hadn’t really meant this. She said this just to get rid of Rithvik.

“I am going to get an Ice cream. Do you want one ?!!” Karthik asked out of blue and Naira was relieved that he hadn’t heard anything.

“Yes. Chocolate.” She said. Karthik nodded his head and walked away.

Naira picked up her and Karthik’s bag from the bench and started to follow him, but she stopped as a dairy fell down from his bag. She picked it up and realised it was his personal dairy. She was about to open it but Karthik came there.

She placed that diary in her bag, remembering to read it later sometime. Karthik came and gave her the chocolate ice cream. She thanked him and got engrossed in eating her favourite dessert.

“I love you too.” Karthik said and looked at Naira lovingly.

Naira was wondering why he said like that but she saw Rithvik standing there and looking at them so she just gave Karthik a fake smile.

“You guys are in a relationship ?!!” Keerti asked Naira on the next day of the college.

“What ?!!” Naira asked her totally confused.

“I thought Karthik proposed you and you accepted it.” Keerti said.

“No way. Why do you think he would do that ?!!” Naira asked.

“Because he loves you dumbo. Look at him,the way he looks at you clearly reflects how much love he has for you.” Keerti answered.

Naira turned and saw Karthik smiling at her. She acknowledged him with a smile.

“He doesn’t love me. Neither do I love him.” She stated in a matter of fact tone and left for her home.

I know its just too short, so will be posting another Chapter before tonight which would be a bit longer than this one.

I know that I am posting very small updates and have become very irregular but its only a matter of three day more. Will be posting regularly after that.
