My heart beats for only you (Episode 37)

Before i start, I’d like to inform you all that since I’m not familiar with India’s (Hindu religion) way of marriage (like chants and rituals to be done etc), i will be rushing through the wedding so i hope you won’t have a problem with that. I hope you understand what i mean. I’m a Muslim and a follower of Islam so don’t really know the customs but i kinda find them all really interesting. 🙂 and thanks alot for all your comments on last episode! Like really i was cloud nine reading them all! I saw some silent readers also commenting and i thank you whole heartedly for that. Hope u keep supporting me in future! ❤

Episode 37

Recap- episode-36

“Twinkle! Kunj!” Bebe yelled running towards them with a basket of flowers in her hand. They turned around and took the basket out of her hand. “Ji Bebe? Kya hua?” Kunj asked. “The wedding starts in one hour and you two are still here busy with the arrangements? Go and get ready, I’ll take it from here.” She said complaining.
Twinkle pulled her cheeks and said, “My Darling Bebe! We’ll go and get ready, just give us a few minutes to check the decorations and we’ll be on our way.” “Okay go quickly! I’m sure Yuvi and Mahi are getting impatient up there.” They laughed and Twinj left to look at the wedding arrangements. The gates of Sarna Mansion was covered with traditional yellow and orange coloured flowers while the lawns and trees had tiny bulbs lit around them. As they move along inside the mansion, we can see it decorated full on wedding wala decors. Around the corners were decorated with red and orange cloths with different colour flowers draped along the staircase. In the middle stood a mandap of perfect size, not too big, not too small. It was decorated with white and marigold coloured cloths and flowers. The Sarna Mansion literally felt like a wedding wala atmosphere. There were several waiters dressed in traditional sherwani outfits and many guests swarming in their elegant outfits all around waiting eagerly to see the bride and groom. As Twinkle and Kunj approached on top of the staircase, they turned and looked at their magnificent work done for their brother and sister.
“Well Ms Taneja, we make a pretty good team.” Said Kunj smiling at Twinkle. She nodded in affirmation and added, “That’s right, Mr Sarna. Well done!” They smiled and left for their rooms to get ready.

After a while, the pandit announced that the auspicious time was passing and to get the bride and groom here.

L- They will be here. Not to worry..

Just then they all felt petals showering on them. They turned their attention to the staircase and their jaws dropped.

On both sides of the steps, Twinkle was bringing Mahi down while Kunj was bringing Yuvi. Mahi was looking more beautiful than any bride in the world. She wore a traditional bridal lehenga outfit, red with silver works in colour. Her dupatta covering her head of rose pink mix of red colour hooked to her waist. She was also wearing an antique set of jewellery. She looked really pretty. Other side Yuvi wore a matching colour red sherwani with a gold coloured turban.
Twinkle and Kunj carried them together towards the mandap while both Yuhi were smiling, listening to their guests praising them. “May God keep this couple forever happy!”
The pandit started reciting and instructing Yuhi what to do after Twinj left them sitting on the mandap.

“Wow Baby, you’re looking like fire tonight,” Kunj said flirting with Twinkle when they were finally standing Alone. “Baby?” She asked and looked at him and he winked sending her crimson. “Kunj you’re very naughty you know that?” She said and Kunj looked up proudly and replied, “Yah i know but i can’t control it when i have such a hot woman standing next to me. Right my doll?” Now she started turning redder than ever and covered her face with her hands. “Kunj!” She said shyly when he started laughing and pulled her cheeks. He was right though, in a way, because she was looking extremely gorgeous. She had to, since it was her only brother’s wedding and..also to send Kunj wild ?. She wore a dark green in colour lehenga with plenty silver designs done all over. Her blouse was a bit short but she wore a red dupatta over her shoulders to cover. Her hair was in a side style braid with very few strands left dangling near her ears. Her make up was light except for her dark eyes filled with kajol giving her eyes an intense yet beautiful look. Earrings and necklace was of silver while her bangles matched the outfit.

“Kunj you’ll never change nah?” She asked smiling and he replied, “Offo, if not you, then who will i flirt with? After all you are going to be my would be wife,” and nudged her. “Unless you want me to go find other women. I’m sure they all are looking for a handsome hunk to date and you know I’m available.” He continued making her widen her eyes. To his surprise she glared at him and hooked her arm in his and said, “Don’t you dare mister! You are mine and only mine! Those other girls could…” He smiled seeing her jealous and side hugged her. “Oh wow, you’re already burning in jealousy. Hayee you’re killing me Twinkle. I’m so lucky to get such a girl like you.” She smiled and rested her head on his chest. “Kunj you’re not looking so bad yourself.” “I know,” he said sarcastically and Hugged her tighter. Kunj was dressed in Yuvi’s choice of clothing for once. Usually Yuvi would want him to wear something of His choice so because it was his wedding Kunj wore one of Yuvi’s choice, which was a black sherwani and matching pants with a brown west coat shirt over. He left his hair uncombed and sleeves folded up to his elbow. In short, he was looking drop dead s*xy.

After Yuvi and Mahi had done walking around the fire, seven times, promising to be with each other through thick and thin, the pandit then told Yuvi to fill her forehead with sindoor and tie the mangalsutra around her neck. Twinj stood there looking at them happily.
T- Kunj i can’t wait for you to become mine. I mean i never pictured myself getting married with such a wonderful person. I’m so happy!
Kunj laughed and said, “I’m nothing Twinkle. Without you I’m incomplete. When I will hold your hand on the day we walk around the fire and promise to be with you for eternity, i will never let go. I promise!”
“And the day you put the symbols of our marriage on me, i swear I’m yours forever and i Promise to be with you and never leave you. I will never give you a chance to complain. Never. I will be the best wife any husband could ask for.” They both smiled at eo and Kunj kisses her hand and squeezes it.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife. Ms Mahi Sarna, you have now rightfully become Mrs Mahi Yuvraj Taneja. May you have a wonderful long life ahead of you. You can take the blessings from your elders.” The priest announced finally and Yuvi and Mahi stood up and went towards Bebe and Leela. They both blessed them and wished them all the success in life. Bebe cupped Mahi’s face and said, “I wish Monu and Usha were here to see how big you’ve grown. They would’ve been so happy today.” Mahi held her hands and tried to keep in her tears. But she then started crying and hugged Bebe, who also started shedding tears. Kunj saw this and went towards them. “Kya Mahi!? Today’s your wedding day and you’re crying? Aur tum! Bebe! You promised me earlier you won’t cry again because of silly reasons so stop it!” Bebe and Mahi both smiled and wiped there tears.
M- Better?
He smiled, “Better!” He pulled her cheek and kissed her forehead and hugged her. He rubbed her shoulders and said, “Don’t worry Maa and Papa are happy that you’ve finally moved on. Yuvi will take care of you. Just be happy and don’t cry. Ok? For your brother’s sake at least?” She broke the hug and smiled. “Only for you Kunj!” They smiled and had a brother sister moment. Yuvi put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her while Twinkle did the same to Kunj. Twinkle hugged Mahi and Yuvi and yelled congratulations loud in their ears. “Bhaiyya don’t you dare annoy my bhabhi and bhabhi if he irritates you let me know! I know how to sort him.” She said pointing her finger at him. “Acha? You’ll come and teach me a lesson? You’ll come in my room, during my private time, with my wife and..” Yuvi started but then bit his lip realising what he was saying. Mahi widened her eyes and blushed. “Wahh Yuvi, you’re rather fast. Mahi di i think he planned your life without letting you know.” Kunj said teasing him. “Shut up yaar Kunj. Chee!” Yuvi said covering up for his embarrassment. “Idiot!” He muttered but Kunj heard him and laughed. He walked up to Yuvi and hugged him. “Take care of my sister Yuvi. I know you will never let anything happen to her but whatever happens, I’m always here for both of you.”
“Thanks Kunj. You also have my sister. So take care of her.”
“I will,” Kunj replied smiling

Wedding was finally over and all the guests had left. Bebe and Leela left to speak to the pandit about Kunj and Twinkle’s wedding while Yuhi had gone to their room. Kunj and Twinkle were also around but where?..

Terrace ;

“Kunj! How much are you going to feed me? I’ve had enough! Kunj!” Twinkle yelled in between bites since kunj was continuously pushing food in her mouth.
“Eat child! Both you and I haven’t eaten all day so behave and sit quietly and have this food.” He said ordering her and picked up a piece of roti (paratha) and placed it near her mouth. She pouted and he added sternly, “I won’t fall for that now open your mouth!” She made an irritated face and opened her mouth. When he put the food in her mouth, Twinkle bit him. “Ahh!” He screamed as Twinkle smirked at him. “Sorry,” she said innocently and kissed his hand. They both started laughing and Twinkle started feeding Kunj also. Like this, they both ate and had their meal. After they were done, Kunj and Twinkle sat closely together, hands entwined and her head on his shoulder.
T- Kunj..
K- Hmm?
T- Are you excited?
K- For what?
T- I don’t know, just like that. I mean our life has suddenly changed and now its changing for the better.
K- You’re talking about our marriage aren’t you?
T- Well yea, that too.

He turned and faced Twinkle and said, “Twinkle you are happy right? I mean..” She cupped his face and nodded yes. “Of course i am. With you by my side, I’ll never be sad again.” He smiled and kissed her hand. “Okay, my siyappa queen!” He said making her roll her her eyes and they both started laughing. “Idiot Sarna,” she said. “Haa but you still love me.” Kunj said winking at her. “What to do? I haven’t a choice?” She said dramatically holding her head. Kunj raised his eyebrow and looked at her, “Acha? Really Twinkle? Come here.. You!” And before Twinkle could even react, Kunj grabbed her and started tickling her. She tried her best to make him stop but ended up laughing and hit him. “Haha..Kunj stop it yaar..” She yelled trying to keep his hand away. “No you look so cuteee,” he said enjoying himself. Twinkle finally freed herself from his grip and began running away when Kunj caught her wrist in the nick of time. Sajna ve plays in BG as Kunj pulled her slowly to him. As she reached closer to him, he wrapped his arms around her and placed his head on her shoulder (back hug position). “Kunj,” she whispered as she shivered upon his touch. “What are you doing?”
“Making the most of us. You smell so good.” He replied brushing his lips along her shoulder and neck. She began blushing and pushed Kunj away but yet again caught her. This time by holding the ends of her dupatta. (Guys they hadn’t changed out of the wedding outfits as yet)
He slowly pulled her closer to him and they had an eyelock.
Kuch To Hai starts playing in BG. Kunj pull the dupatta over them, covering their faces. Twinkle looks down and shies away. He holds her chin and brings her face closer to his. He kisses her ears and forehead. He then swiped his lips over her eyes and she slowly opens them and then kisses her cheeks sending Twinkle crazy. She tightens her arms around his neck and Kunj smiles. He retreats slowly towards her lips.

He looks up and sees Twinkle closing her eyes nervously. He smiles and swiftly picks her up in his arms making her shocked.(Bridal style)
“Kunj.. Wha..” He stopped her from talking and said, “Oh siyappa queen, just be quiet and enjoy the moment.” She laughed and hugged him. “I love you,” she said and he replied, “I know.”

Episode ends with Twinkle in Kunj’s arms.
