Hate? Really – And the Game starts now

It was a beautiful temple on a small hill. Lord Shiv was sitting in his meditation as an idol. The blue statue was bit darker blue at it’s neck. A trisul on the right side and snake garland across Shivji’s neck made him look fierce but his face was calm and composed. Nandi idol outside was guarding the temple. Sanskar stepped out of the car near the base of the hill with a huge smile on his face. He started climbing the stairs with her who stood beside him wearing a sari and ornaments and looked like a bride. Sanskar was also wearing the Sherwani like a groom.

The air made him nervous. A new beginning of his life seemed so beautiful. He couldn’t believe he was really with her. Her presence always brought a smile on his face and his heart beat would be at peak around her. Like her heart beat was connected to his and they both leaped with sync. Is this is why they call soul mates. All those words about love of which he had always made fun of seemed true. She had changed his life to that extent. True it is said that love can melt a rock too and it had melted a rock called Sanskar Maheshwari finally.

They bent and took blessings from Nandi and walked inside the temple. She raised her hand to ring the bell and Sanskar looked at her and followed the same and folded his hands like how she did. It wasn’t that he had never visited temple but it had been ages that he felt it necessary or inspired to pay a visit to the creator of world and here the destroyer. He closed his eyes. “Thank you Shiv Ji. I couldn’t have asked anything more than this. Finally she is in my life. And I promise you I will take care of her all my life” Sanskar opened his after doing a small mind chat with Shiv ji.

He looked at his right. There she was smiling looking at him. It feels great when you bring a positive change in the person you love and she was admiring her effect on him. Why does the feeling called love has such an impact on us. How can it bring out the changes which force cannot bring. “Love” as beautiful as it’s name sounds and feels makes life beautiful.

When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. And his heart was feeling the same anxiety. (The quote is from a movie sorry I have forgotten the name of it)

The wind blew breaking his thoughts and the smile on his lips widened when their eyes met. “Sanky” someone elbowed him which literally brought them out of their dream land. Both avoided the eye contact and blushed. “Oye hoye” the same person teased Sanskar. “Shut up Manny(Manpreet)” he glared his best friend. “And you stop blushing now and move. Gadhe don’t you want to get married?” asked Manpreet. “I think he has changed his mind” the girl next to bride made fun of him. “You are absolutely right Jaan” Manny winked at her making her frown. “Shut up yaar Aditi” Sanskar squealed like a small kid. The bride chuckled at his state.

“Move now” Aditi signed him and he walked further and she walked parallel to him with Aditi helping her. They stood facing each other finally in front of the Pandit. She blushed lowering her head making his heart jump. Manny handed both of them a garland each and they held and looked at other’s face through it.

The garland covered Sanskar’s neck in next moment and he put the garland across her neck. “Welcome to my life Mrs. Maheshwari” he whispered in her ear making her blush while putting the garland.

They heard some noise when Sanskar held the Mangal sutra in his hand to make her wear. Some men charged inside the temple like bulls and started hitting anyone who came on their way. All panicked and started running in all directions. Before anyone could realize anything a hefty man hit Manny on his head which started bleeding . Manny looked at the blood which smeared on his hand which was holding his head to prevent the pain.

Aditi panicked looking at his state and rushed to him and tried preventing the men but they pushed her making her to land on the ground. Sanskar who was not able to understand anything was walking towards Manny but rushed to Aditi who fell on the ground and hurt her elbow. He made her sit and consoled her. She signed him towards Manny. He looked back broke his garland in rage and approached Manny who was being beaten by the men badly.

He pushed one of the man and charged at the other. He was trying hard to save Manny whose condition was worsening by time. “Manny” he screamed when one of them smacked Manny’s head with a thick wooden plank and breaking it into number of pieces. The blood was already oozing out of Manny’s mouth. Some more drops fell out and he held his head wincing in pain. Sanskar pushed the men who had surrounded him and approached the man who hit Manny and kicked and punched him as hard as possible.

After some more painful moments finally Sanskar was overpowering the men. Aditi was busy trying to aid Manny who was struggling with pain. Nobody realized that the bride was missing. At last when few men were only left they just avoided the fight and ran away from there. Sanskar wiped the blood droplet which had traveled from his nose and was reaching his upper lip. He looked in a direction Manny was being consoled by Aditi.

“Sanskar….” they heard her screaming voice when Aditi and Sanskar were trying to help Manny. “Sanskar….” her cry was unbearable. “You go Sanskar I’m fine” Manny spoke holding his broken limb wincing in pain. Sanskar looked at him helplessly. One side it was his love and on the other side the friend of his life. Aditi signed him through her eyes to go she will handle. Sanskar patted her shoulder to be strong and ran in the direction from where her voice was travelling.

“Sanskar…..” he stood stumbling as he was some feets away from her. There she was back walking fearing the person approaching her in front of her who had a knife in his hand. “Move” Sanskar heard the person’s voice. In next minute Sanskar’s eyes popped out when she fell back as her leg was at the edge. Was he breathing? Was he feeling anything?

“Kavita” Sanskar shouted.

“Sanskar beta” Sujata rushed inside his room. He was sweating sitting on his bed. His heart was at race with time. He was blankly staring the wall. “Sanskar” Sujata placed her hand on his shoulder and he jerked due to it with fear. He was shivering uncontrollably. He immediately hugged Sujata. Mother is all you need and only force to take you out of your nightmare. “Maa maa” he was struggling to speak in between his heavy breaths. She was confused.

Ragini was just doing a prayer closing her eyes. She rubbed her palms and they moved over her face. She heard a door bell. “Who will come at this time?” she wondered. She looked at Swara beside her who was sleeping peacefully. She nodded her head and was about to lie down her Dadisa’s voice stopped her. “Ladoo” Dadi screamed from the hall. Ragini rushed out and stood near the railing. “Haa Dadi sa” she bent downwards. “Lakshya has come” Dadi sa signed her to come down.

Ragini nodded her head and walked down. She was confused. “Why has Laksh ji come here? And at this time and Dadisa is allowing me to meet him?” she thought in her mind as she descended the stairs. Finally she reached the hall. Laksh who was looking around the house turned when he heard her anklets. She smiled at him to hide her uncomfortable feeling. And he reflected her smile.

“Wo actually I’m really sorry Ragini. I disturbed you at this time. But actually Sanskar Bhai’s health is not good” the words about Sanskar’s health made her heart flinch. “What happened?” she asked worried. “I think he had a nightmare and now we aren’t able to console him. So Choti maa thought you can console him so” Laksh spoke apologetically. Her forehead had formed the wrinkles of worry.

She looked at her Dadi sa who was on her right who nodded her head in positive.

“Is he okay. I mean he suffers a lot due to it” Ragini kept inquiring about Sanskar’s health throughout their journey to Maheshwari Mansion. Laksh was surprised the way Ragini was so much talkative to him for the first time. He had always seen her soft and silent and innocent side. Today he was seeing a caring side of hers.

“Ragini beta come fast” Sujata dragged Ragini with her to Sanskar’s room leaving others like Annapurna, DP, RP, Pari, Adarsh and Laksh reluctant due to her behavior. Ragini was at Sanskar’s room door. Sanskar was lying on the bed shivering. She swiftly approached him and sat beside him. He was burning with fever. “Aunty he has high fever” Ragini touched his forehead. Sanskar held her hand in sleep.

Ragini jerked due to his sudden behavior. She tried taking her hand out but was not able to. Sanskar’s shiver started fading. Sujata pleaded her to help her son and Ragini nodded her head and caressed Sanskar’s hair. The wrinkles on his forehead was fading as her soothing touch cooled his thumping heart and relaxed all his senses.

Chand na jaane kaun de usse roshni(Moon doesn’t know who is responsible for it’s shine)
Suraj na jaane kithna jalaye uski garmi (Sun doesn’t realize how much it can burn)
Hawa na jaane Saanso ki dor hai usse Judi (Air doesn’t know breathing depends on it)
Ae dost na jaanu mai kaise teri maujudgi bhare mere har gham (Oh friend I don’t know how your presence heals my wounds)

Ragini sang a soft song which made Sanskar relax completely. Friendship doesn’t know differentiating.

**********.*******
“Thank you” Laksh spoke to Ragini who was looking outside the window. She turned him and returned him a sweet smile. “You still don’t consider me as your friend isn’t it?” her pain filled voice made Laksh look into her eyes. Her eyes was filled with water and her tears were about to jump out. “Hey” he looked at her worried. “Nothing like that Ragini. See if it was for me I won’t be saying sorry but you came at this time for Bhai and because of you only we could cool him. So I said that word” he said looking front and then looking at her. She was still not convinced.

“Fine. I take that word back happy now?” he showed his left hand to her looking forward. Ragini nodded her head smiling at him. “Now come on take back those tears” he said. She wiped them and smiled widely. Whatever Sanskar did still he was her friend. She couldn’t stop herself from caring him. On the other hand Laksh was enjoying the newly found friendship. And Sanskar around whom the story is revolving was battling with his past and the memories which reloaded like they were fresh wounds and were getting worse with time.

Is love really powerful to overcome this hate? Only time could tell the answer.

Sanskar’s growing hate, Laksh’s growing friendship and Ragini’s growing affection. Who will win the battle?

I hope the pairs are pretty clear in this story. I’m not a fan of RagLakSan love triangles because I love RagLak the way I love RagSan. So I can’t break anyone’s heart as both Laksh and Sanskar are my favs. I have always brought a new actor whenever I wanted to form the triangle with RagSan or RagLak. Let me see whether a triangle is really required in this story.

Any complains or suggestions other than the non regular updates you can share it with me. Keep smiling and Tashan is on the way. *wink wink. Will try to see you soon take care guys.
