Recap: Twinj undergo a morning after consummation romance. Kunj leaves to California for one week.
EPISODE 52
(Sarna Mansion…)
It has been five days since Kunj’s departure. Twinkle walks into her and Kunj’s room and opens the cupboard. She starts putting her clothes in the cupboard and stops at Kunj’s shirt. She notices a piece of paper sicking out of the pocket. Slowly, she took out the paper and read the words on it:
“Twinkle,
I know this is surprising to you and it might be a bit filmy. But, I have to do a little drama for my drama queen. I didn’t leave for one week. I lied.”
Twinkle- What?
Twinkle continues to read the letter.
“I actually left for two weeks. Now, don’t be mad but I have a reason for that. If you want to know the reason, you will have to ask Mahi bhabhi. I love you. ~Your Kunj.”
Twinkle is shocked. She immediately dials Kunj’s number. Twinkle impatiently paces around the room as Kunj’s phone keeps ringing. After a while, Kunj sleepily answers the phone.
Kunj (half sleeping)- Twinkle, what is it? It’s 3 in the morning yaar, let me sleep.
Twinkle- Kunj Sarna!
Kunj quickly sits up right. His sleep flies away as he hears his wife’s yelling.
Kunj- Oh, so you found the note?
Twinkle- Kunj, what is all this? What do you mean you left for two weeks? And what is this damn note?
Kunj smiles.
Kunj- Go ask bhabhi. Now let me sleep. Oh and…I love you.
Kunj quickly hangs up and goes back to sleep.
Twinkle- Kunj!
The Next Scene…
The whole family laughs while Twinkle looks at them confused.
Mahi- Sorry Twinkle.
Twinkle- You all knew? Papa aap bhi?
Manohar- Sorry Twinkle beta. Kunj bhi na. He wanted to surprise you that’s why he told us not to say anything.
Twinkle- Matlab, you all knew Kunj left for two weeks not one?
Everyone nods.
Twinkle- But why?
Yuvi- Mery pyari behen, for this…
Uv hands an envelope to Twinkle. Twinkle opens it and finds a plane ticket.
Twinkle- What is this?
Usha- That is a plane ticket that Kunj left for you. You are going to California and staying with him the last week he is there.
Twinkle- But how can I…
Bebe- Nahi puttar. You go. This can be your honeymoon.
Twinkle blushes.
Bebe- Okay Twinkle puttar, go pack. Your flight is tomorrow.
Uv- Mahi!
Everyone is shocked to see Mahi unconscious and in Yuvi’s arms.
Uv- Someone call the doctor!
The Next Scene…
Everyone is tensed as the doctor checks Mahi, who was still unconscious. She slowly gains back her senses and opens her eyes.
Doctor- No need to worry, it happens at this stage.
Uv- Doctor, what stage? What happened? Is Mahi alright?
Usha- Bebe, is what I’m thinking true?
Bebe- I’m also thinking the same thing.
Uv- Ma, Bebe what are you saying? Why are you whispering?
Doctor- Congratulations Mr. Sarna, you are becoming a father.
Yuvi’s jaw drops. Mahi blushes.
Uv- What? Jaan!
Yuvi hugs Mahi while everyone laughs.
Twinkle- Papa ji, I can’t go now. I can’t leave Mahi bhabhi in this state.
Mahi- Are nahi nahi Twinkle. You go enjoy your trip with Kunj.
Usha- We are here with Mahi. Don’t worry.
Mahi- Vaise bhi Twinkle, my chotu here needs someone to play with. I thinks that’s your responsibility.
Twinkle blushes.
The Next Day…
Everyone goes to the airport to bid Twinkle goodbye. Twinkle boards the plane and leaves to California.
(California…)
Kunj thinks- After one week, I’m finally going to see you again. It feels like ages since I’ve had you in my arms, since I’ve smelled your fragrance, since I’ve seen that dimple.
Kunj stops and feels someone’s presence. He turns around to see someone walking towards him, wearing white jeans, a simple pale pink top, and a black blazer. Kunj stopped to admire the simple perfection of Twinkle. Twinkle saw Kunj and immediately ran up to him. Kunj opened his arms as Twinkle ran into them and he picked her up and twirled her, all while hugging her tightly. After putting her down, he placed their foreheads together.
Kunj- I missed you.
Twinkle- I missed you too.
Twinkle pulls away and slightly hits Kunj’s arm.
Twinkle- You’re so stupid.
Kunj- Ow!
Twinkle- This was a dumb plan. Why couldn’t you just tell me the truth?
Kunj- If I told you, would you be here with me? It was a surprise.
Twinkle- Speaking of surprise, I have a surprise for you also.
Kunj’s face lights up.
Kunj- Really?
Twinkle- Yes, But not here. I will give you your surprise at the hotel room.
Kunj raises his eyebrow.
Kunj- Oh, in the room?
Twinkle- Kunj shut up! Nothing like that. Let’s go.
And with entwined fingers, they headed back to their hotel room.
