Ragini was sleeping peacefully but was disturbed when she heard some noise, she got up and went out to see what was happening, she shrunk her eyes bcoz of the bright light
She saw sanskar …………………… desperately searching something

Ragini- kya hua? ………..don’t tell me u have also hidden money ……( She smiled)
Sanskar- u go and sleep ( in a very dry voice)
Ragini- (her smile vanished) Sanskar…….r u fine?
Sanskar- yes I am, u go sleep( he jerks her)
Ragini gets shocked by his behavior,
she turns him,
he was dropping his head down……….
she lifts his head ………..
his eyes were bloodshot, his face was tired Nd pale , he seemed to not have slept for years……………
but ragini was all confused…….
she couldn’t figure out the reason behind his state.

Ragini- San…s..kar, what happened?……..tell me…..( She was panicking)

He keeps mum, but ragini sees that he was hiding something.
Ragini- what r u hiding?
Sanskar- hesitates) nothing!
She tries to snatch it forcefully from him he resists her, but in the act of trying to stop her, he pushed her……..Ragini falls down and her hand gets injured……….

Ragini- aaaaahhhhhh!
Sanskar gets shocked- I am …..am ……so sorry………I didn’t …..mean…to do that

Ragini was all blank, all she could think about was SANSKAR……..she looked at him with hopeful eyes demanding for answers…….she looked down at his hand………..seeing her Sanskar hid the thing………..but it was too late

Ragini- sleeping pills?

Ragini understood everything…………….every single thing came to her mind! …that either he stayed up all night without sleeping or woke up very late………..Nd sometimes even pretended to be asleep…….Nd the saddest part was she believed his every action and he was suffering………………….all alone!

Sanskar- (breaks down) I …..ca…n’t sl…..e… ep!!!
He drops his head on her lap, all broken, not having d strength to explain and cries

Ragini never saw him in such a vulnerable state, he is her support system and seeing him like that she didn’t feel good……………….it hurted her.

She was feeling guilty, all these years she was fixing herself forgetting that she wasn’t the only one broken……………she wasn’t there for her friend, her best friend when he needed her the most……..she was busy with her own self that she didn’t have the time, to look INTO HIS EYES ………didn’t have the time to feel that something was tearing him apart………she realised that he was supporting her with his own soul,
and now she decided not to give up on his friend who needed her the most, jst like he did…………..

Ragini- bas..bas…. Now get up!
He lifts his head up Nd before he could come to his senses…….. ?
Ragini slapped him

Sanskar- ouch (shouting) what was that for?
Ragini- I understand that you could not sleep…………?but that doesn’t mean you should kill urself!
Sanskar- I wasn’t doing that
Ragini- oh really !( Holds his collar) How many tablets do u take everyday?
Sanskar- ah…am…ah….4 to 5
Ragini- only 4?…….oh……..
(shouting) kyun beh? U should have ate 10 and slept permanently……..
Sanskar- so….r…ry! ……..but I couldn’t sleep…..
Ragini glares at him

Sanskar- ?how u can go from fully emotional to ironic in jst 0.1 seconds?
Ragini- one of my many talents!

Ragini- and from now on I will sleep only after u sleep…..
Sanskar- then forget sleeping!
Ragini- nothing is impossible! Ok…….
Sanskar- ya right!

Next morning,

Ragini wakes up and gets shocked?- when did I sleep? Oh god
Sanskar- if u had told me I would have woken u up!( Handing over a coffee mug)
Ragini- u didnt sleep?
Sanskar- NOPE!! Only u did?….
Ragini-?
Sanskar- and where did u hide my pills?
Ragini- in my stomach!
Sanskar-? what?
Ragini- jst kidding!

Sanskar sips his coffee while reading newspaper and on d other hand our ragini bursts out laughing

Sanskar- have u gone mad?
Ragini- ? u should have seen ur face yesterday (she makes faces?????)…………hahaaha, it was very funny even sharukh Khan didn’t have so much emotion in his face in Devdas!………
Sanskar-? I wasn’t acting ok!
Ragini- ya u weren’t ………..but u sure we’re looking like a person with constipation problem!……hahaha?( she laughs holding her stomach)
Sanskar- hehehe(mimics her) gets up angrily and leaves……
Ragini- arey u became angry……hey…..listen ( she laughs for another 5 minutes)…………….. (to herself) I have to do something and take him out of this mess!
