Star Plus’ Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana instead of being a fresh concept couldn’t manage to garner good ratings. The show is now slated to wrap up on January 1. The lead man Hasan recently opened up on the same to ETimes TV and shared, “It is never a good feeling when your show goes off air. Of course, it is abrupt. Nobody was expecting it. There were talks of the show getting a new time slot. So, in a way, it is shocking.”
Talking about his accident, Hasan said, “I am still recovering from the injuries I sustained during the accident. Honestly, I didn’t get any time to react to the accident or the news of our show going off-air. The day my stitches came off, we were informed that the show is ending. Obviously, it is sad but there is nothing we can do about it. As actors and technicians, we tried our best to entertain the audience. The final decision is between the makers and the channel.”
He adds, “Apart from writing, direction, and performance, other factors, too, come into play to rake in the number. The machinery must work together. If there was more buzz and awareness about the show, it would have taken us beyond what we achieved and generated sustainable ratings. That was a bit disheartening, but we can’t do much about it.”
When asked about his next project, he replies, “The news of ZMGA going off-air hasn’t sunk in yet. I am getting offers, as people have learned about the development. While I don’t have a concrete plan, by default, it will be a two-week break before I take up a new project. I would need some time for a full recovery.”

Im with you on this i really enjoyed this show its was getting excited i wanted to see the love story of the 2 lead actors and what do the producers do take it off air absolute disgusting im very upset about this

This is really sad. This is one of the better shows on TV. Different concept not the same Saas Bahu crap and this one running down that one man etc. Really was looking forward to the Pritam Amrita/Ansh dynamic. This show had a lot of potential. Good acting by all.
Will miss this show. Wish another channel picks it up. Wish all of them success in their future endeavors.

its really sad this show is gone off air, as you said there are so many Ekta Kapoor’s crap shows going on for years without any sensible story line, all her serials carry extra marital affairs same story with different actors and different names, why can’t the chanel’s remove her serials.

If you want to scrap a show the story should be finished. It should not be abrupt. Otherwise audience feel cheated.

Stupid serials like ‘ye rishta kya kehlata hai’ go on and on and on but when by mistake we get to see a good show, it suddenly goes off air! Are the channels really not bothered about the audience?

I am from U.S, my time is so valuable.. I rarely follow hindi serials.. most of them are crap with lot of fighting.. my wife forced me to follow this one.. interesting I enjoyed watching this and I follow this show more then her..

Never understood… The best series is always treated like this. Good actors coming together and were giving great performances too. Will be missing the concept and the stars that made it. All were amazing..
