Star Plus’ Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana instead of being a fresh concept couldn’t manage to garner good ratings. The show is now slated to wrap up on January 1. The lead man Hasan recently opened up on the same to ETimes TV and shared, “It is never a good feeling when your show goes off air. Of course, it is abrupt. Nobody was expecting it. There were talks of the show getting a new time slot. So, in a way, it is shocking.”
Talking about his accident, Hasan said, “I am still recovering from the injuries I sustained during the accident. Honestly, I didn’t get any time to react to the accident or the news of our show going off-air. The day my stitches came off, we were informed that the show is ending. Obviously, it is sad but there is nothing we can do about it. As actors and technicians, we tried our best to entertain the audience. The final decision is between the makers and the channel.”
He adds, “Apart from writing, direction, and performance, other factors, too, come into play to rake in the number. The machinery must work together. If there was more buzz and awareness about the show, it would have taken us beyond what we achieved and generated sustainable ratings. That was a bit disheartening, but we can’t do much about it.”
When asked about his next project, he replies, “The news of ZMGA going off-air hasn’t sunk in yet. I am getting offers, as people have learned about the development. While I don’t have a concrete plan, by default, it will be a two-week break before I take up a new project. I would need some time for a full recovery.”

This is really sad. This is one of the better shows on TV. Different concept not the same Saas Bahu crap and this one running down that one man etc. Really was looking forward to the Pritam Amrita/Ansh dynamic. This show had a lot of potential. Good acting by all.

हम तो अगले एपीसोड का इन्तिज़ार ही करते रह गए ये off air होने की सूचना मिल रही है जब इतने बकवास सीरियल इतने लम्बे समय तक लोगो को झिलाए जाते है तो इस सीरियल को अचानक बंद करने का क्या ड्रामा है एक बार इस सीरियल को फिर से शुरू करने के लिए सोचना चाहिए

I had been clicking hot start for number of times just to check if ZMGA had started. Just came to know it has gone off the air… can’t believe it s this is the best show on start plus. I have been a fan of Anupma for long but from the day, I started watching this serial. This has been on number one.

What a wonderful Show. It was getting momentum. And suddenly it was abrupted & stopped. You should launch it again through web series. Hope it comes back again.

This is highly disgusting that such a wonderful and full of life, the Drama Serial ZMGA on Star Plus has been stopped. Let it be come to its destination, the producers and the Channel Owners may cut short the story line,but must not shelve it permmanently.
