Scene 1
Mohini comes to her father’s place. He cries. She gives him water. Mohini asks all the kids to leave. He says everything is over. I lost my job. Mohini’s mother says he didn’t even fight back. They asked him to leave and he left. He is so calm we never progressed because of that and we have 4 daughters. Mohini says every problem has a solution. Don’t say all this. We will find another job. He says who will give me a job at this age? No one wants an old person. I am worried about how will I pay the rest of the installments of the house. It will be auctioned. Her mom says we will all beg. Mohini says I will do a double shift. I will get 20k more and get a bonus too. She says will you live with us forever?
