Swara was a gynaecologist, after attending a few patients, she went for her rounds. After her rounds she went to the canteen to have food. Swara was waiting for Gauri to come.
Swara gets Gauri’s call….
“Swara, I’m a little busy, I’ll join you for lunch.” Gauri said.
“Ok carry on.”
Swara gets bored sitting alone when Laksh comes with the request to join her.
“Hi Swara, can I join you.” asked Laksh.
“Ya sure.” she replied formally.
“Tumne kuch order kiya (Did you order anything)?” he asked.
“Nehi, mein bas abi abi aai (No I just came).” She replied.
“Waiter……. yaha aao (come here).” Laksh called out.
“Ji sahib, kya loge aap (Yes sir, what will you have).” waiter said.
“For me a samosa and tea, what will you have Swara?”
“Bhaiyya, for me a coffee.” Swara ordered.
“So how are you?” he asked.
“I’m……. fine, why would you ask that?” Swara replied with a doubtful expression.
“Actually, your accident…………….. he started but Swara interrupted ” So we know each other earlier?”
“Mm yes, we were classmates.”
“Oh! I’m sorry I’m not able to remember you.”
“You’ve just forgotten my face Swara, you can’t forget me.”
“What???”
“I mean we were very good friends!.”
“Gauri didn’t tell me anything about our classmate working with us, why would she not tell me that?”
“She wouldn’t have thought about you forgetting me, also maybe didn’t want you to take strain”
“Oh maybe.”
” Do you remember this keychain?” Laksh asked taking a keychain from his pocket.
She looks at the keychain, in which the letter L and S was hanging. She looked at it in great curiosity but she couldn’t remember.
“This was the gift you gave me in the name of our friendship.” He said.
Swara smiled awkwardly. She couldn’t take everything all of a sudden and felt uncomfortable.
Laksh sensed her discomfort and said “Don’t worry Swara I’ll not force you to remember anything, I couldn’t take it that you behaved like a stranger, that’s why I just let you know that we were best friends so that you can feel free with me. I’m not going to force you to remember anything, but I’ll help you get back your memory in every possible way because I……………..” Laksh stopped himself………” because I… , I mean….. because we are best friends.”
She gave a fake smile and thanked him. She received a Whatsaap message and took her phone to check out some of her unread messages. She missed Gaur. All the while Laksh kept on looking at her. The slight smile that came on her face when she read cute messages, the laugh she suppressed when she read funny messages,…. everything she did was adorable to him. He couldn’t take his eyes off her.
“Madam ji, yeh lijiye aapke coffee, aur sir ye lijiye aapke chaay aur samose. (Madam, here’s your coffee and sir here’s you tea and samosa” The waiter said.
tttoo tisssss tttttt and the glass fell down and broke.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU IDIOT, AANKHEIN KAHA HE TERI, AGAR APNE KAM TEEK SE NEHI KAR SAKHTHE THO JAO NA, IF IT WOULD HAVE HURT HER…… Tum teekh ho na Swara…. (Where are your eyes, if you cant do your job properly then get lost, are you alright Swara)” Laksh asked in concern.
” Calm down, Dr. Laksh, it was a mistake, no one will drop a glass by purpose.”
“But if you would have got hurt then??”
“Nothing has happened to me” she convinced him and turned towards the waiter.
“Bhaiyya, aap……………………. SANSKAR TUM…… ” Swara looked at him in shock.
” You remember him???”
“Ya of course, we just met this morning.” Swara said in excitement.
Laksh tried to say something but Swara interrupted ” Laksh please excuse us, bye.” She said and walked along with Sanskar. Laksh was very irritated and wanted to stab Sanskar at that moment for trying to get close to Swara again.
“Tum kabse yaha pe kaam karthe ho (From when have you been working her)?” Swara asked.
“Do din se, kyoon (Since two days, why)?” Sanskar said.
Swara couldn’t control her excitement, but she didn’t know why was she so excited.
“Thank God, actually mein yaha kisi ko nehi jaanthi, aur mein bored ho rahi thi, tabhi maine tume dekhi, that’s why I’m so excited to see you, others all seem strangers. (Actually I don’t know anyone here, and I was bored too, that’s when I saw you, that’s why I’m so excited to see you, others all seem strangers.” She said.
“So I’m not a stranger???” he asked eagerly.
Swara stood speechless and they look at each other

” Eh woh…. mein tumhe subah se jaanthi hoon na, in sabse abhi mili hoon (Eh….. I know you from this morning right, I just met these people now).”
Sanskar looked into Swara’s eyes and said “Acha, jaanthe tho aaj subah se, par lagthe he barso se (We know since morning but seems like we’ve known each other since years.)”
***Bg tune***
” Waise tume lagi tho nehi na (You didn’t get hurt right) I’m really sorry for that, your boyfriend was very concerned.” He interrupted.
“Boyfriend, who he, no he is just my colleague, Dr. Laksh.”
“Oh.”
“Ok bye Sanskar, mein chalthi hoon (I’ll take a leave), break is over.” Swara said.
“Teek he madam ji (Ok madam).” Sanskar said.
“Madam ji??? Call me Swara” she said.
They smile and parted ways.
Swara was walking in the hospital isle, while a child ran by her side and pushed her, she slipped and before she could fall, someone caught her to balance her and with one hand on her stomach.
*** Bg tune***
(Chahe jaha tu jaye, paaye mujhe hi paaye, saaye ye mere he tujhme samaye)
” Careful Swara.” Sanskar said while his hand was on her stomach.
She looked at him in surprise, and he reflexely took his hands off her.
“I actually came to give your phone, you left it in the canteen.” He said
“Oh!! Thank you…… so much.” Swara said still feeling awkward.
He smiled and took a leave.
Swara looked at Sanskar going away and kept her hand on her stomach, she remembered Laksh’s dialogue……. [Aap aise bhaag dhod math keejiye, iss waqt khayal rakhna chaahiye, (Don’t run too much, you have to take care during this time)], she remembered how Sanskar kept his hand on her stomach and said “Careful Swara.” Swara stood confused.

Omkara gets a call.
“Kaise ho bhai!!! Maine suna ke aaj kal tum apne beevi ke aas paas ghoom rahe ho!!! (How are you bro! I heard that you’ve been around you wife always nowadays.” Om said.
” Gauri ne ithni jaldi tumhe news dedi kya! (Gauri gave the news so fast.)”
Om laughed.
Om sensed his worry and asked “Kya hua yaar (What happened friend), you seem disturbed!”
“Om vo phir se aagaya, aur voh mere aur Swara ke beech me aane ki koshish kar raha he, agar usne Swara ko kuch karne ki koshish ki, mein use jaan se maar doonga. Mein chup isliye hoon kyunki mein Swara ki raye jaanna chaahtha hoon, Isliye uske yaadhash vapas lana bohoth zaroori he, kyunki sachai sirf wohi jaanthi he. (Om he has come again, he is trying to come between me and Swara, if he tries to do something to Swara, I’ll kill him. I’m silent because I want to know Swara’s opinion, and so it is so important to bring back her memory, because only she knows that truth.)
“Dont worry, sachai aur sacha pyaar ki jeeth hi hogi. (Truth and true love will win)” Om said
” I actually called you to tell that, take special care of her, kyunki woh ghar me bhi aa saktha he (because he can even come there at home.”
“Isse acha tho woh dehradun mein rehthi (Better than this would have been her stay in dehradun), we bought her here to keep her away from that psycho, and he came here also, how did he find out so fast.”
“Uske wajah se mein Swara ki aur hamare bache ke saath nehi hoon, iss samay use sabse zyada meri zaroorat he, woh yeh tak nehi jaanthi ki woh ma banne vali he, par kahi na kahi vo mujhe miss kar rahi hogi aur mein uske paas hoke bhi, use bohoth door hoon. Par mein vadah kartha hoon, uss bache se, ki vo bacha is duniya mein aane se pehle, mein saari sachai patha karloonga, aur useke saath uske mummy aur papa dono honge (Just because of him I’m away from Swara and my child, this is the time when she needs me the most, she doesn’t even know that she is pregnant, but somewhere inside she would be missing me, and me being near her I cant get closer. But I promise to baby, before he is born, I’ll bring out the truth and he will have both his parents with him .”
“Aur hum dono tumhare saath he (And we both are with you).”
“Yeh loh, shaithan ke naam loh aur shaithan haazir, tumhari beevi mujhe daatne ke liye call kar rahi he, Swara ke saath usne dekh liya hoga mujhe (See, take the devils name and it arrives, your wife is calling to yell at me, she would have seen me with Swara).”
Om laughs out and said “Teekhe daat khaake aajao( Ok carry on), Bye”
“Bye.”
Gauri on call…..
“Now in which other language should I explain you Mr. Maheswari. Don’t you get that, she has a head injury and she is also pregnant, with great difficulty we got both of them safe and healthy, why don’t you just understand her health is more important than her memory. Gauri said in anger.”
“Yes that’s why I’m always with her.”
“I’m not in a mood to joke.”
“Ok Ok, I just wanted to keep an eye on what she ate, last day remember she was about to drink pineapple juice, I just wanted to take care.”
“Bohoth pyaar karthe ho na tum Swara aur apne bache se (You love Swara and your child so much right)”
“Acha, tho tumne kya sochi, mein naatak kar raha hoon, sirf tumhara pathi sacha pyaar kar saktha he kya (Oh! So what did you think, that I was acting and only you husband can give true love or what!).” He mocked.
She laughed.
“Tum uska khayal rakh sakthe ho, par dhyan rahe ki use kisi bhi tarah ki pareshaani na ho (You can take care of her, but take care that she is not much disturbed), because I saw him today with her.”
“Ya even I saw, he dropped the glass and tried to hurt Swara too.”
“Sankar ji hamare saath he, kuch galath nehi hoga (Sankar ji is with us, nothing wrong will happen).”
“Mm.”
“Teekhe mein rakhthi hoon, bohoth kaam he. (Ok I’ve to go, i’ve got work)”
“Teekhe teeke jaldi rakho, mujhe bhi bohoth kaam he (Ok ok go fast, I’ve got other work too)” he acted like she disturbed him.
“Acha, Swara ki yadhash vapas aane do, pehle tumhara shiqayath karoongi mein (OH! Wait for Swara’s memory to return, first I’ll complain about you to her).”
“Teekhe teekhe, dekhenge (Ok Ok we’ll see).”
“Dekhenge (Let’s see).”
They both laugh and end the call.
Precap:
Om turned to Gauri and said “its ok Gauri, now leave it, tumhe patha he na mein tumhe aise nehi dekh saktha (You know right I cant see you like this)”
“Oh ho Oh ho” said Swara and Laksh and laughed making fun of the love birds.
Laksh turned towards Swara and looked at her, lost in her mischievous giggle, he looked at her in admiration.

Laksh tum akele baitke ro rahe ho kya (Are you sitting alone and crying)” Swara asked.

***There was a request to include more Om Gauri scenes….. According to the story, due to Swara’s condition and some issues in her life, Om and Gauri are worried for her, but to prevent the story from being boring I’ve included some scenes being in the limits of the situation (I hope it’s not boring). In the upcoming episodes (or parts) you’ll see more about Omkara and Gauri’s story (Flashback of their love story). I’ll try my level best to make it interesting and entertaining. Thankyou.***
