I was being pecked on, again and again. He was nuzzling on my neck, breathing over it. My breath hitched, he started trailing hot wet kisses down my neck, gently over my collar bone, his hands trying to get into my shirt, gently pushing it up. I was getting on high, a soft moan escaped my lips, and he smiled over my neck. “Good morning, my lady.” He said. I just moaned in reply, he smiled. “Come on darling, you have to wake up.”
“Nuh uh, and don’t dare stop what you are doing.” I said. He paused, “No you are sleeping.. I won’t do anything.” He sat back folding his hands.
“I know just what to do!” He said. Before I even had time to panic and think about what he meant, I was being picked up and carried to the bathroom.
“Kartik, don’t dare do it. I swear I’ll push you.” He just pushed the knob and started the shower.
“Kartik, let me down now. Or I..” I never got a chance to finish that. Grabbing my lips in his, I had craved for this, I didn’t know I will miss his kisses so much. I responded with all the vigour and passion. Desire growing inside me too. I ran my hands through his hair. We didn’t stop until both of our lungs were screaming for air.
I don’t know what it is about water and romance, but it kind of increases your desires. We made love there, it was messy, it was effort full, but as always it was great. They say, it is one thing to romanticise love, and s*x was different. But it probably isn’t so when it happens with the person you love. It is a completely different type of mating, which something as crude, or superficial as s*x cannot define.
When I returned to the earth, I found that there was food for me kept there, with medicines, and juice. It was then I realised I really was hungry. I hogged down the whole thing, cringed at the medicines. I knew I would have to take them, with a sigh I swallowed it down and gulped down the whole glass of juice.
He saw the whole thing standing there, smirking. “You really are a kid, aren’t you? Who eats medicines like that?”
“I. I hate them.” I said. I didn’t like his teasing tone really, but he was having a go at me. I wouldn’t have let him win. “You don’t have to tease me though. Wasn’t it you, who like a baby held Gayu di’s hand when doctor had an injection removed.”
“I’m not scared of injections.” He said, rolling his eyes. “It was mishtu’s plan. She said, I can hold your hand pretending to be scared of injections.”
Wow I didn’t know that. I really thought he was scared of injections. But wait, he wanted to hold my hand, why did he hold my sisters then? “You don’t love me, you cannot even differentiate my hand from my sisters. How can you say you love me?” I wasn’t really angry. But he started teasing game first. I was sherni for God’s sake.
He looked shocked, like really looking for a reply. I was trying to hide my smirk, he looked really devastated. Be strong Naira, don’t let this innocent face fool you, he started this first.
“Jaan. I really thought it was your hand. Why would I hold your sisters?” he replied.
“Oh I don’t know, if you wanted to hold my hand then, you could have left hers, when you knew it wasn’t me. But did you? No you wanted all of Singhania girls, mishtu was already your ex gf, and double timing.” I said.
“Naira, I left her hand as soon as I opened my eyes. And what is this double timing thing? Don’t you trust me?” he said. Who said anything about trust.
“You didn’t realise it wasn’t me for so long?” I said, turning around. I really couldn’t control myself anymore. He really thought I was serious. I was sure my face would betray me. Anyway I could feel my shoulders shaking. I hoped he didn’t see that.
“Naira, jaan. How can…!” He paused, “This wasn’t even funny! You were taking a mickey out of me.” He said, huffed. “ I won’t give you your surprise now.”
“What surprise?” I asked.
“Why would I tell you? I don’t want to talk to you. Go make fun of me.” He said.
“Kartik! Tell me, what surprise?” Saying that I started searching his bag, his cupboard. “You won’t find it sweetheart! Now you have to work hard to get it. I would have given it to you, but not now.” He said. Showing his tongue to me.
“Mendak! Don’t jump so much! I know how to cut your strides.” I said
“Sherni don’t roar so much, you’ll get a sore throat!” he replied
“Idiot”
“Stupid”
“Man.”
“Woman”
“And don’t you forget it!” I said.
I really would find out ways to get the surprise. For now, I went down to greet my family. They asked me if I was all right. I never had been better. Everything was just perfect.
Right now my biggest problem was getting hold of that surprise, which didn’t really qualify as a problem. Just as this thought passed around my head, I saw Luv Kush running in the garden.
I went after them, and told them to go and search Kartik’s clothes. I was sure it was in some of his pocket. I would have done it myself, but I had my devar as agents!
“Luv Kush. Come here. Can you do something for me?”
“Yes bhabhi! What do you want!”
I explained them the plan, the excitement on their faces increasing. They would get a reason to harass Kartik. I would get my work done! What more was ever required.
“Wow bhabhi! We would bring it to you! We are always on your team.” They said, running away already. They meant strict business.
They came down in sometime. Holding an envelope, packet sort of a thing. And Kartik was running behind them. Even I raced to them, to ensure Kartik didn’t get hold of it first. I open it as quickly is possible, dodging kartik, as he is trying to snatch it from me.
“Not fair sherni. You cannot get more members in your club.” He said
“Did I complaint about mishti always being in yours? Why are you whining now.” I said. Running a bit, trying to put some distance between us.
I finally got hold of those things. “Kartik?? This??”
“Yes that, dad gave it to his princess as he quoted. Did you like it?” he asked
“Like it? Are you kidding me. I love it. This must be every woman’s dream. We are going to honeymoon……”
