Hamari Wali Good News to go off air by August end

TV show Hamari Wali Good News will go off air by August end. The show features Juhi Parmar, Shakti Anand, Raghav Tiwari and Srishti Jain playing lead roles and is based on an interesting concept of surrogacy where the character of the mother-in-law (essayed by Juhi Parmar) becomes the surrogate mother for her son’s child.

The show took a leap a few months back where they also introduced a double role for Juhi Parmar. Unfortunately, the efforts from the makers and the team were not able to keep the show afloat.

While a reliable source confirmed that the show is wrapping up next month, the actors of the show are not yet aware of this development. In a conversation with BT, Juhi said, “We have not got any official information on this. We are shooting and there will be an interesting twist coming up in the future episodes.”

Srishti Jain, who essays the role of bahu, is currently serving her notice period as she has quit the show. Apparently, the actress was unhappy with her track.

A source close to the show explained, “In the television world, such things happen. You accept a role because it is narrated to you in a particular way, but then over a period tracks change leaving some actors disappointed. So at such times, it’s better for people to part ways amicably rather than stay unhappy. Srishti wants to now focus on challenging roles and is hoping that she will land an interesting project.”
