The Episode starts with Lajjo sitting in her room alone saying Ishaana and thinking about Nikhil. Lajjo thinks of her scene with her mum that happened earlier befoie her marriage. Lajjo talks to mum about her friend and her husband. Her mum says a wife will feel bad if her husband roams with some other woman. She asks her mum do you not love my dad. Her mum scolds her. Lajjo thinks she was innocent and did not understand this. She says its true that Nikhil loves Ishaana. She says he is only keeping a relation with me, to keep my parents happy, he is treating me well to show others. She says her mum told her about this time, that she did not understood earlier, ut now she is suffering that pain and she is unable to bear it.

The next morning, Ishaana’s mum is taking care of Ishaana

and her diet. Ishaana says you go to office, I will do it myself. She says I have taken one week leave to spend some time with you. Ishaana says I know why you are doing this, you have to trust me, I won’t do that again, I realized my mistake. She asks her mum to trust her on this. She says I know Nikhil was my past and he is a married man now, she says I have actually moved on. Nikhil comes to Lajjo. He asks her whats going on in her mind. She says nothing. He says something is there, tell me. He asks her what happened, did anyone tell anything. She asks her to write letters to everyone and says send me for posting it. He jokes and Lajjo looks at him.

He starts leaving saying bye. He comes back and looks at her. He says why did you come in my room yesterday night, were you afraid in the guest room being alone. He says we don’t even rats in our house, then how did you become afraid, what happened, are you fine, you are not talking to me, not even fighting. He says I understand your silence will bring winds, I m afraid of your silence. She gets up and he is afraid. Lajjo smiles. Someone comes and says Barkha is calling Nikhil and Lajjo. Nikhil asks both or only me. She says both of you. Nikhil and Lajjo go and meet Barkha in the hall. Nikhil says mom, anything urgent. Barkha says nothing urgent, but serious. She asks them to sit. Lajjo does not sit. Barkha asks her to sit and does not care for the ghunghat. Lajjo sits beside Nikhil.

Barkha says don’t be surprised, you may not believe my behavior, but I will not be strict to you from now on. She says Lajjo, you don’t need to stay in the guest room. She says from now on, you can be free as your wish. She says this house is yours too Lajjo, I will accept Lajjo as Nikhil’s wife. Nikhil and Lajjo are shocked. Barkha says Lajjo will get her rights as Nikhil’s wife. She asks Nikhil to introduce Lajjo to his close friends circle and start by going in Gujral’s party as they have got an invitation. Nikhil says but… Barkha says don’t hesitate, one day you have to introduce her, don’t worry about Lajjo, she is a smart girl, she will handle herself, you have to take her to the party.

Nikhil says how can Lajjo go in the party, she does not know what happens there. Barkha says how will she know if she does not attend, she has to learn our parties and everything as we are. Nikhil says its a cocktail party and she would not be knowing it. She has to be presentable, she does not have clothes to wear. Barkha says don’t worry, I will get her a lovely saree, don’t worry. Nikhil says I don’t feel good. Barkha scolds him and says will you not take her, let her go and see, how long will you hide her from everyone. Lajjo says that day it was my mistake. Barkha says enough, its the end
of discussion, you have to take her to the party, its final.

Lajjo is happy that Barkha is accepting her as her bahu. Lajjo says I did not feel its for real but she really wanted me to go to the party. She shows the invitation card and says I did not go to any party till now. Gunjan says there won’t be anything much, only singing and dancing and getting ready. She says I will help you with the party. Gunjan leaves.

Gunjan shows the makeup kit to Lajjo. Lajjo asks whats this and that. Gunjan explains her the mascara and eye shadow. Lajjo is happy and says if my sisters sees this, she will be after you. Gunjan says come with me to apply the face pack. Lajjo is treated well with Gunjan. Barkha comes and sees Lajjo with the face pack on her face. Barkha gives a saree and jewels for the party. Lajjo says I have the jewels. Barkha asks Gunjan to explain Lajjo about matching jewels. Gunjan says ok. Barkha leaves. Lajjo asks what happened. Gunjan says pinch me and says I can’t believe that Tai ji brought clothes and jewels for you herself, its unbelievable.

Nikhil’s dad asks Barkha did you talk to Nikhil, will he go to the party. She says yes, why not,he has to go. He asks is this fine to introduce Lajjo in our friend circle, people will laugh on us and Lajjo. She says now you got it, let the laugh for few days then it will be fine. He says Barkha, did you think about Lajjo, how will she take this insult. Barkha says she has to learn, I feel she is used to this now staying in this house. He says this is not right. Barkha says Inder, we don’t have any other option, we tried our best explaining Nikhil, now its time Nikhil should realize how the society sees Lajjo.

Ayesha gives the sandal to Lajjo. Lajjo sees its heels. Ayesha has broken the heels and says all the best Lajjo.
