Ep 16:
It has been three days that Rudra started to work on his business along with his mother. He learnt a lot and his brother Shivaay was helping him even not looking at his own business. Om drowned himself in the work and he loved the way the paintings as well as the sculptures being challenging. But everyone in the Oberoi mansion was confused about what to do to stop Priyanka’s engagement with Ranveer. Lavitra didn’t spoke to anyone apart from Pinky. She even avoided eating with others and no one was bothered.
On the evening:
With a heavy heart and disgust on self, Priyanka sat in front of Ranveer and his family. Kamini was laughing happily eyeing the jewellery Priyanka was wearing. Ranveer Singh Randwana came to meet Priyanka with his mother, Kamini and step dad Rishi Malhotra was there.
Anika was busy doing the final preparation checking, she came little late to the hall. The minute she stepped in to the hall, her heart dropped to the stomach. Tears filled her eyes. She was not sure whether she was happy or sad. She just stood there. Om noticed it and made sure to make his Bhabhi standing next to his bhai. Shivaay standing next to her made Anika feel that she is strong. With a smile she decided to hide her emotions and all of it shattered when Kamini started to speak.
Kamini: Priyanka is so lucky to find a man who loves her. I was bit unlucky in this area in the beginning. But I got the man I love later in my life.
With that she intertwined the hands with Rishi Malhotra. Anika shattered listening to it. Her eyes glistened but she quickly brushed it off.
Rishi: lets do the engagement now itself. Things will get better soon and we will get to know each other soon.
Shivaay & Ranveer: Lets wait for few minutes.
Rishi: Why do we have to wait Ranveer?
Ranveer: let mama come. I want him in my engagement.
Tej: Why did you say wait Shivaay?
Shivaay: we just the family now only and don’t you think it is too soon to fix he engagement.
Omkara: I agree with Shivaay. There is no need to rush things like this.
Tej: leave the kids out of this. Engagement is happening toady. Lets just wait till Ranveer’s mama.
Rishi: Arent you so lucky to have a husband who considers his family before anything? Like Kamini said, you are lucky… how I wish I have a daughter and now you will fulfil it beta. There is no need for you to do anything after marriage. Just stay at home like a queen. Okay?
Prinku: Sorry uncle. I want to work. I want to help Shivaay bhai and Rudra bhai in the business…
Rishi Malhotra was furious and angry as a girl back answers him.
Rishi: what is the use for a woman to go for work? Just manage the house. Just like your mother, chichi and bhabhi… undertand?
Rishi’s words were not suggestion or an order. There was an underline threat on his words.
Ranveer agreed with Rishi and didn’t take her side.
Priyanka was hurt as everything she wants was been taken away by Ranveer. She can’t live according to her wish her after.
“I am here!” the familiar voice was heard and all turned to see Daksh walking in with a smirk on his face and he was looking at Anika only.
Shivaay: How dare you come to my house? Get out of here.
Ranveer: Shivaay! Give respect. That is my mama.
Shiavaay: I will never let Daksh or anyone related to him to set foot on this house. Leave right now!
Kamini: This is an insult Shivaay! Your sister will be the one who will be affected by this. Now itself apologize to Daksh!
Rishi: And also Oberoi empire. I will ruin the business. Don’t forget you are challenging a Malhotra.
Shivaay: Do what you can? I will do anything to protect Anika… She is my…
SHivaay didn’t complete the sentence… he don’t want to call her his wife yet!
Daksh: Are you sure about it Shivaay? That Anika being yours! Don’t forget that she agreed to marry me!
Daksh tried to looked at Anika from the head to toe… Omkara and Rudra stood before her covering her… SHivaay became furious…
Shivaay: How dare you look at her?
A gigglish-laugh boomed through the hall…
Lavitra was walking inside with her left arm around a girl… they both were laughing their heart out and both their hands have a bottle of vodka…
They are drunk…
Ranveer and his family stood up with a shock. Daksh ran his hands through his hair out of frustration.
Rishi: Lavitra! What are you doing here?
