Naira’s Pov

“You liked it?” He said as he rested his chin on my head securing me in his arms
“Like?….I loved it!” I said as I meet his beautiful shining eyes which glowed more after hearing my compliment
“By the way what are we doing here outside when party is going on inside” I said
He gazed at me intensely and then finally released me
“Fulfilling your wishes Princess!” He said
“My wishes?” I asked a bit confused
“Wait and watch!” He said
I looked at him in utter confusion
‘What is this man upto?…Yet another surprise?’ I thought
His gaze was still fixed on me as he took some steps backward and then clapped exactly three times …It more off looked like an indicator
And then what happened next was least expected
Water started falling out of the sprinklers which were fixed all around the place and were absolutely unnoticed by me along with lights which created a beautiful impression

It took seconds for both of us to get drenched completely
“Kartik!!!…What’s this?” I said giggling around and twirling in joy as water flashed on my face again and again
And he just stood there smiling getting wet with me
“You love rain dance na?…….I could not bring rain for you but did my best” He said

I don’t know how I was feeling
I just could not put it words
‘He did this for me? Only for me?’ I thought
My heart was literally bursting with happiness and all the love I had for him
I could’nt have wished more than this! More than him!

Kartik’s Pov

She was looking so breathtaking and beautiful giggling and dancing around in the water
I could have spent my entire life seeing her like this
And then she came running towards me, her eyes shining brightly showing how contended she was and a perfect smile present on her face
She threw herself completely on me as I wrapped my arms around her and twirled her around
I could​ feel her smiling widely as her head was buried deep inside my chest
I finally brought her feet back on the ground but she didn’t budge rather tightened her grip around me
I was feeling on cloud nine!

No doubt she was the only girl existing who could make me feel this way
She didn’t​ do anything special for me till now but even her slightest gestures or her antics did wonders for me
I too didn’t let go off her
Our bodies glued to each others perfectly due to falling water
“Thank You Kartik!” She said as she finally moved a little
“It’s not needed Baby girl you got what u deserve..And you deserve all the happiness of this world” I said with all the love in my eyes
She didn’t say anything
Her eyes said volumes which words couldn’t​ have done
“What are we waiting for? Look around your free to dance your heart out anywhere you want” I said and she did looked around smiling when her gaze fixed towards me
It was certain that something was going on in that head of hers
“Will you dance with me?” She said forwarding her hand
I was surprised at her gesture but I grabbed her hand anyway
“Always” I said

Naira’s Pov

I could feel my heart beating like a drum as soon as his hand came in contact with mine
He immediately pulled me in his embrace with his one hand across my waist
We were lost in each other
There were a lot of emotions playing inside me
Butterflies found their home in my stomach as he pulled me more closer just inches away from him
His cologne filled my nostrils completely with water falling on us
Being in his embrace was the best thing in world!
And then the music started to play as we started to dance completely lost in each other

Halka halka rang beetein kal ka

We ended dancing still lost
We were brought out of trance by a couple of clappings
We turned around to find Gayu Di and all others standing there clapping
I was sure that I had turned a deep shade of crimson in front of them as we moved apart

“Wow bff you both were looking like my TV serials hero heroine” Mishti said excitedly
We both didn’t utter a word due to embarrassment
“Can we join too?” Gayu Di said breaking the akward silence creeping in as we both sighed in relief and nodded
We all enjoyed ourselves to the fullest on the rain dancing on latest Bollywood number back to back before heading back home
As Kartik vowed it was my best birthday ever!
