Actor Ayesha Singh, who essays the lead role of Sai in the show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the latest report Ayesha tested positive for COVID-19 last evening. The actress is not coming to the shoot for the past few days. Ayesha has mild symptoms and is currently under home quarantine.
Producers Rajesh Ram Singh & Pradeep Kumar, confirmed the news in an interview and shared, ”Ayesha is an integral part of the show. As soon as she tested positive she has quarantined herself. Immediately thereupon the entire cast & crew were isolated and tested. The BMC is informed and the sets will be fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol. Currently, the artist is receiving medical attention and is under home quarantine. We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to.”
The makers will now have to change the track to accommodate the absence of Ayesha’s character in the show.
