At that time ,Aniket, Milind, Ajinkya, Sandhya and Astha entered Pulkit’s house with bouquets and gifts , they had come to congratulate Pulkit and Devyani for their newly married life…..They actually met Madhuri in the Temple early morning where she had gone to pray for Pulkit and Devyani’s happily married life…..Milind who recognised her quickly walked up to her and asked if Pulkit was fine to which she happily nodded and also told them about Pulkit’s marriage. Hearing about their favourite professor’s wedding they decided to meet him in person and wish him . Milind took Pulkit’s details and called up his friends and they decided to surprise Pulkit and Devyani only Sai’s phone was not reachable so they thought she might be busy helping her In Laws. Milind and others were surprised to see Virat and Virat was equally surprised to see them. Milind then broke the ice and asked Virat where is Sai…..as she hadn’t come to college nor was she picking up her phone……Virat’s face turned pale as he didn’t know what to tell………and sensing uneasiness I’m Virat’s looks Pulkit diverted the conversation and asked them how were they doing and asked them to have lunch with him. During lunch everyone enjoyed Pulkit’s food and Devyani felt lucky as her husband made her favourite and introduced her to his students tooo. Only Virat wasn’t able to eat well as his mind constantly wondered about Sai’s well being. After lunch before leaving Pulkit’s house Milind stayed back for sometime whereas the others took leave of Pulkit, Devyani and Virat. Milind then asked Pulkit whether he had any injuries or not and who kidnapped him………Hearing the word Kidnap, Virat was confused. Milind didn’t let anyone speak and continued that last weekend when he was going by his car to a friend’s place he saw Madhuri and Sai going towards the outskirts of Nagpur. Since his friend’s farmhouse was also in the outskirts he offered to drop Madhuri and Sai. But looking at Sai and Madhuri’s worried face he sensed something wrong and when he asked Sai about it she blurted out that Pulkit had been kidnapped and was in some grave danger. He dropped Sai and Madhuri near the forest and was worried for their safety and wanted to accompany them but Sai refused and asked Milind to drop Madhuri back home as Harini was all alone, though she had slept leaving a small kid all alone at home wasn’t right . He dropped Madhuri back to Pulkit’s place and stayed there as he didn’t want any harm to befall on Madhuri and Harini. He had left the next day early in the morning as he had college. Sai hadn’t come to college that day too. Hearing this Virat understood that something grave had happened in his absence.
After saying so…..Milind got a call and he quickly left leaving Virat ,Devyani and Pulkit all alone. Virat then asked Pulkit what had happened and told to tell the truth. At that time Madhuri who made sure Harini had slept walked down the stairs and told that she would tell the truth. She told that last week after Pulkit left college and had gone to the bank to withdraw cash as they had to buy clothes and accessories for the wedding, Dadu Bhai a well known goon kidnapped Pulkit and took him to an isolated place on the outskirts of Nagpur. Madhuri grew worried as Pulkit hadn’t returned home till late in evening. She infact wanted to even file a missing complaint but since it was not even 24 hours that Pulkit had gone missing she couldn’t file an FIR. Feeling helpless and dejected she called up Sai who told that Pulkit had left college after the lunch period and infact he had told that he would be going to the bank and later to the wedding hall to instruct the staff about the arrangements. Even Sai felt something fishy and tried calling Pulkit but his number came switched off as the goons had snatched his phone and switched it off so that no one would be able to reach him. At that time Harini tooo refused to have dinner and Madhuri had to call Sai as Harini had become very cranky. Only after Sai came and consoled Harini by telling that Pulkit had an emergency case and a seminar……He hasn’t returned home and would come back soon and ensured that the child had food and went to bed.Infact Sai stayed with Harini throughout the night and didn’t even sleep. The next day early in the morning when Sai went to Chavan Nivas she heard Bhavani screaming and creating a scene stating that Pulkit broke Devyani’s heart as he sent a message on Bhavani’s number stating that he didn’t want to marry Devyani and had moved on in life with Sangeeta Deshpanday.
