Finally it was time Virat and Devyani came face to face.Devyani looked at Virat with rage and asked him the purpose of his visit. Virat was shocked by his Tai’s cold tone, the one who used to love him the most spoke to him as though he was just a stranger ,well he deserved it.But the most astonishing part was that his sister who used to speak childishly now spoke like a mature woman, he was shocked beyond words. Understanding the curiosity of her normalcy, she told him not to get surprised as for almost 7 years she had been given depressants by her own Mother so that she could lose her mental balance and become ill mentally throughout her life and forget that she was married and had a daughter. Hearing that he felt the ground beneath him shake…..he felt as though someone a pierced a dagger right through his heart, he was unable to take in that the Lady whom he respected a lot had turned out to be malicious and wicked. Devyani continued that it was Sai who once had come to feed her breakfast and that’s when she observed those tablets and felt something was wrong.She immediately took a strip of those tablets to her college as she wanted to know about the side effects of those tablets and consulted a neurologist in her college. The neurologist, Dr.Shankar who was fond of Sai as she was a bright student, immediately agreed and helped her.He told that these tablets are given to patients who are suffering from mental trauma and PTSD , and if given to any normal person it could make a normal person lose their sense of thinking and lead to mental imbalance. Infact she even asked him if their is anything to cure mental imbalance which was caused because of wrong medications to which he suggested psychiatric treatments as well as change in the medications. Immediately that day onwards Sai started treating Devyani’s mental condition without letting anyone even know about it. Sai enrolled Devyani for psychology therapy sessions and she herself paid for all of f Devyani’s medical bills and therapy sessions. And all the money that was spent was hard earned by Sai, she used to complete others assignments as well as take tutions for kids online. Virat felt even more ashamed that instead of taking his help for monetary funds this 20 year old girl who was in her 3 rd year of MBBS worked hard day and night just to make sure his sister gets well.
He felt ashamed that instead of being her protector he turned out to be worse than a human being too. Devyani was cured within a span of 6 months but had to pretend in front of the family else they would end up harming her. Sai had told her to play along until she got married to Pulkit. Hearing voices coming from the main door, Pulkit who was busy preparing lunch for his family came running to the hallway only to be shocked by looking at Virat and Devyani. He was not worried about himself and didn’t mind going to the jail but he didn’t want Devyani’s mental health to be affected as she had just come out of a trauma and her losing her calm could lead to severe trauma that could damage her mental balance
