Ninad warns Virat and Sai not to think of celebrating his and Ashwini’s wedding anniversary as he never felt anything for her and in fact he doesn’t want to remember his wedding day. Omkar sarcastically says his wishes don’t matter to them. Sonali says only Sai’s wishes matter and she will forcefully celebrate other’s birthdays and anniversaries. Ninad warns that if they have planned a party, he will not participate and they should celebrate it only with Ashwini. Ashwini tells Virat that Ninad is right that they shouldn’t celebrate a meaningless relationship. Virat asks then what is the meaning of his existence and asks Ninad if he was repenting his marriage, then why did he bring him on this earth, does he repent even for that and his birth is just a mutual understanding. Ashwini cries not to say that as his birth is the most happiest day of her life. Mansi asks Ninad to reply to Virat’s question. Ninad asks what should he reply when his son is questioning his identity, he is proud that he is father of an IPS officer and his son is questioning if he is repenting giving him birth, how can he question his immense love for him. Virat says a son, he expects his father to love and respect his mother, but his father never respected his mother.

Samrat says Ninad is hurt with Virat’s question, he should think that a son who always felt proud of him is hurt with his behavior towards his mother. Bhavani stops him and says Ninad and Ashwini are married for 37 years and its their personal matter, but she doesn’t feel anyone would repent giving birth to such a talented son, she knows Ninad since he didn’t know himself well, she doesn’t have any son and hence she considers Virat and Samrat as more than her sons. Ninad says he will do whatever Ninad says. Virat says he wants him to low him and Sai celebrate his and aayi’s anniversary. Sonali and Omkar provoke Ninad and says Virat is his son and cannot question or force him, so he shouldn’t celebrate his anniversary forcefully. Mansi asks them to stop provoking Ninad. Ninad says his son asked something for the first time and he will not deny him. Virat thanks him and says he will make his parent’s wedding anniversary a lavish affair. Omkar says Ninad taught him not to budge to anyone’s demands, but himself is breaking rules. Ninad says he wants to find peace in his son’s happiness and even Omkar should and let Mohit pursue his acting career. Sonali says Omkar has changed being with a wrong company and walks away. Mohit thanks Ninad for supporting him. Sai thanks him for giving him permission. Ninad tells Virat permitting him doesn’t mean anything will change between him and Ashwini.

Virat feels sad remembering Ninad’s words. Sai walks to him with dinner. He asks what is he doing here. He says she didn’t find him in his room and came here, she brought him aayi’s prepared food as she heard he didn’t have anything since morning. He says he is not hungry. She says he should share his sorrows with his friend like he shares his happiness with her after having dinner. She wipes his tears and asks what is going in his mind. He says he feels angry on himself as he never opposed baba since childhood when he insulted aayi and when he took a stand for aayi, he feels he should have done this long ago and stopped aayi from bearing pain. She asks not to feel guilty as she knows what is bothering him, so she will tell him a story. He asks story when he is sad. She says they teach human psychology in her medical syllabus and gives an example of a baby elephant which is chained by mahout in childhood and thinks he is tied even in adulthood. He says he cannot understand what she means. She says they call it conditioning in psychology; he never had courage to speak against baba and if he had, baba would have scolded and shut his mouth, but now he has grown up and realizing his mistake like he woke up from sleep questioned his baba. He says she helped wake up. She says aayi must be happy that her son took her stand. He says when he was getting transferred to Gadchiroli, baba spoke his heart out, he agreed for anniversary celebration as he loves him and will never love aayi. She hugs and consoles him.

Precap: Pakhi gets jealous seeing Virat and Sai hugging each other emotionally and questions their relationship. Sai thinks if she and Virat have become more than friends.
