Rituraj notices Neil lost in thought and asks what he is thinking about, and Neil admits he is thinking about Teju. However, he tells Rituraj that even if he shares his thoughts, Rituraj won’t be able to do anything about it. Instead, Neil asks Rituraj why he looks upset. Rituraj, too, is lost in thoughts of Teju. Just then, Yash and Amai arrive and tease Rituraj, revealing that he is upset because the girl he was trying to impress rejected him. Neil asks if it’s true, and Rituraj confirms it, making a comment about his situation.
Later, Rituraj, Nandini, and Yash visit the Chavan family. Rituraj asks Nandini and Yash to go inside and give a gift to Juhi while he waits in the car. As they leave, a football rolls toward Rituraj. Vedaant approaches and asks for the ball, and Rituraj hands it over. Upon recognizing him, Vedaant excitedly asks Rituraj to wait, saying that his sister is a big fan. He rushes inside to bring her.
Meanwhile, Nandini and Yash deliver the gift and return, urging Rituraj to leave. He agrees, and they drive away. By the time Vedaant brings his sister, Teju, outside, Rituraj has already left. Vedaant informs Teju that Rituraj was there, but Teju sternly warns him to stay away from Rituraj, declaring that she doesn’t like him. However, deep inside, she wonders why Rituraj came.
During Juhi’s Haldi ceremony, Juhi tells Deepali that she wants Teju to apply Haldi first. As Teju prepares to do so, Juhi stops her and instead applies Haldi to Teju first, playfully showing her how she wants it done. Teju, surprised, reminds Juhi that it’s her Haldi ceremony, not hers, and makes a remark about it.
As the ceremony continues, family members apply Haldi to Juhi. Teju then invites Lakshmi to do the same, but Lakshmi hesitates, reminding Teju that she is a widow and cannot take part in such rituals. She believes even her shadow would be inauspicious for Juhi. Teju challenges this belief, asserting that a mother’s blessings can never be unlucky for her daughter. She insists that Lakshmi is like a mother to Juhi.
Lakshmi looks to Sonali for reassurance, and Sonali supports Teju’s words. Encouraged, Lakshmi applies Haldi to Juhi. Juhi then asks Lakshmi to apply Haldi to all her daughters, including Aditi and Prajakta. Finally, at Juhi’s insistence, Lakshmi applies Haldi to Teju, who gratefully takes her blessings. Lakshmi then asks Mukta to apply Haldi to Juhi, completing the heartfelt moment.
Precap: Teju prepares to leave for her MA exam when Aditi arrives and shows her something she found in the bride’s room. Teju reads Juhi’s note, which states that she cannot go through with the marriage. Omi then tells Teju that she must take Juhi’s place and sit in the mandap as the bride.
