Vinod speaks to Satish over the phone, informing him that they will visit on Sunday to discuss the wedding arrangements and finalize the match. Satish warmly invites them to meet Juhi and praises her. Vinod responds that once they meet her, they will surely appreciate her too. Neil overhears their conversation.

After the call, Vinod tells Neil about the wedding meeting scheduled for Sunday at 6 p.m. Neil hesitantly asks if attending is necessary, but Vinod reminds him of his promise to marry whomever they choose, emphasizing the family’s trust in him. Neil feels torn—obeying his parents means ignoring his heart, but following his heart might disappoint them. As he struggles with his emotions, he wonders where Teju fits into his heart. Though he agrees to attend the meeting,

he insists that no one should pressure him into making a decision. As he leaves, Leena, worried about his reaction, fears that he might uncover the truth—that he is adopted.

Meanwhile, Teju finishes washing clothes and sits down for breakfast, but Lakshmi stops her, ordering her to grind spices first. As Teju grinds, blisters form on her hands. Seeking comfort, she sings a song, reminiscing about her father, Mohit. Aditi and the others hear her, but Lakshmi, enraged, throws a plate and commands her to stop. When Aditi questions her reaction, Lakshmi bitterly reveals that Mohit always desired a singer as his wife, which is why he never truly loved her. She declares that as long as she is in the house, Teju will never be allowed to sing.

Lakshmi orders everyone back to work. Aditi, upset, points out that Teju already does all the chores and now suffers from painful blisters. In response, Lakshmi slaps Aditi for defending Teju and warns her not to interfere. Aditi pleads with Lakshmi not to hit Teju, but Lakshmi remains firm, demanding obedience. Juhi timidly offers to grind the spices, seeing Teju’s injured hands, but Lakshmi sternly forbids any help, making it clear that she will not tolerate disobedience.

Precap: Lakshmi accuses Mukta of luring a married man and questions whether she has any shame. Enraged, Teju warns Lakshmi not to disrespect her mother, declaring that while she can endure anything, she will not tolerate her mother’s humiliation. Meanwhile, Neil’s family arrives at Chavan Niwas for the wedding, and Neil is stunned to see Teju there.
