Mukta worries about the constant troubles in Teju’s life and questions her decision to marry her to Neil, but Lakshmi reassures her that challenges might bring Teju and Neil closer. Meanwhile, Leena calls Teju inauspicious and weeps for Neil.
On her way to the hospital, Teju promises Aditi that despite her unhappiness in the marriage, she won’t let anyone suffer because of it. At the hospital, Teju struggles to meet Neil but finally gains access with Manjari and Vinod’s help. Though Vinod taunts her, Teju stays focused on seeing Neil, cleans his wounds, and supports him during the interrogation. Neil explains that he refused to abort a baby girl and was falsely accused by Sachin and his family after reporting the illegal act.
Despite Teju’s efforts, Neil is arrested. Teju vows to prove his innocence, warns the media against spreading false narratives, and requests contact information for Sachin and Preeti. As Neil’s family learns he hasn’t been granted bail, Neil is touched by Teju’s unwavering support, and Teju promises to fight for his freedom, determined to clear his name.
