Teju and Vedant notice Mohit is unresponsive. Sensing something is wrong, Teju calls for Mukta. Mukta rushes in and desperately tries to wake him, but he remains still. Panicking, she urges Teju to call a doctor immediately. Teju follows her instructions and seeks medical help. The doctor arrives and examines Mohit. After a tense moment, he delivers devastating news that Mohit is no more. A wave of grief engulfs the family as Teju and Vedant, in shock, refuse to accept reality and try to wake him up. Mukta, overwhelmed with emotion, pleads for Mohit to come back.
Onlookers, witnessing their anguish, gently advise them to start preparing for Mohit’s last rites. The family breaks down in tears. Some relatives console Mukta, while others suggest informing Mohit’s parents. Though devastated, Mukta agrees to make the call. Mukta dials Chavan Nivas, where Lakshmi answers. Introducing herself as Mohit’s wife, Mukta tries to share the tragic news, but Lakshmi refuses to believe her, insisting she is Mohit’s wife and accusing Mukta of playing a cruel prank. Overcome with emotional strain, Mukta collapses.
Seeing Mukta unconscious, Teju picks up the phone and introduces herself as Mohit’s daughter. With a heavy heart, she tells Lakshmi the heartbreaking truth. The shock is too much for Lakshmi, and she too collapses. At Chavan Nivas, the family rushes to Lakshmi’s side, alarmed by her condition. Meanwhile, Teju tries to console Mukta and, realizing the urgency, calls Rituraj.
Elsewhere, Neil delivers a parcel to Rituraj’s room while Rituraj is in the shower. When Rituraj’s phone rings, Neil answers. Mistaking him for Rituraj, Teju, her voice trembling, informs him that her father is no more.
Precap: Mohit’s parents decides to take Mukta and her children to Nagpur. However, consumed by rage, Lakshmi declares that if Mohit’s parents bring Mukta and her children into Chavan Nivas, she will burn the house down.
