As Leena exits with her luggage, Teju claps mockingly. Leena accuses her of celebrating too soon, but Teju calmly remarks that she didn’t realize she mattered so much to Leena.
Leena insists Teju means nothing to her, but Teju points out that Leena’s actions suggest otherwise—she’s leaving both the house and her family in Teju’s hands. Offended, Leena vows to stay until she sees Teju ousted. Onlookers gossip about the family drama, with some criticizing Teju for defying Leena, while others praise her for cleverly preventing Leena from leaving.

Teju asks what Manjari would’ve done in her place, explaining that she feared Leena might send her family to jail, and all she did was tell the truth.
