Satish expresses that he is missing Mohit today, stating that if Mohit were alive, he would have performed the Kanyadaan himself. He also remarks that many people tend to take advantage of someone like Mohit. Teju urges Satish not to humiliate Mukta in front of the guests. She acknowledges their fondness for Mohit but insists that it does not justify insulting Mukta. Aditi reminds everyone that today is about Juhi’s marriage and questions why Mukta and her children are being demeaned. Lakshmi also comments on the situation.
Neil recalls Manjari’s words and requests to speak to Mukta alone. Teju insists that he should speak openly in front of everyone, but Neil remains firm. Deepali permits him to proceed. In private, Neil asks Mukta about her thoughts on their proposal. Mukta firmly declines, stating she will not ruin Juhi’s life just to secure Teju’s future. She rejects Neil’s proposal outright, saying it is not possible. Neil urges her to reconsider.
Leena questions Teju about her commitment to the family and asks if she truly sees Juhi as her sister. When Teju affirms this, Leena inquires if she approves of Neil for Juhi. As Neil and Mukta return to the Chavan family, Leena suggests holding Neil and Juhi’s engagement in five days if no one objects. The Chavan family agrees, and Lakshmi proposes scheduling the wedding for next month, which the Pradhan family accepts.
Jeetu confronts Neil, pointing out that the decision about his marriage was made without his consent. He urges Neil to fight for his happiness. Neil, determined, pulls Vedaant aside and gifts him a phone, asking him to deliver it to Mukta. Teju witnesses this exchange, while Nandini notices the gift and comments on Neil’s actions. Later, Teju scolds Vedaant for accepting the phone. Juhi defends him, questioning why he should be blamed. Along with Aditi, she advises Vedaant to hide the phone safely, and he agrees.
Teju then confronts Mukta about Neil’s behavior, questioning why he gifted Vedaant a phone for her. She also demands to know what Neil spoke about. Mukta refuses to discuss it. When Teju criticizes Neil, Mukta unexpectedly defends him. Teju asks why she is standing up for him, and Mukta admits that when Neil mentioned marrying her at the temple, she had a moment of selfishness. Meanwhile, Aditi notices Juhi looking troubled and asks what’s wrong. Juhi confides in Aditi, expressing uncertainty about whether she should marry Neil.
