The Pradhan family gathers to perform Neil and Teju’s post-wedding rituals. As Teju arrives, Amruta compliments her and encourages her to let go of the Gruhpravesh incident. Prachi echoes the sentiment, reminding Teju of the joyous occasion. However, Rituraj disrupts the moment by pointing out Leena’s absence and bitterly blaming Teju.
As the rituals begin, Leena appears and lashes out, accusing Neil of excluding her. Neil calmly reminds her that she chose isolation. Leena continues blaming Neil, claiming she failed as a mother. Nandini tries to mediate, but Leena remains unmoved. Teju defends herself, stating she had no say in the marriage, but Leena calls it an act. Amruta steps in, outraged by Leena’s harshness, and questions if the rituals will proceed. Bhushan affirms they will and demands no more drama.
The family resumes the ceremony, applying haldi to the couple and performing the water-pouring ritual. Amruta introduces a playful tradition involving Neil holding a piece of coconut in his mouth while Teju eats it hands-free. Though silent, Teju’s acceptance is assumed, and the cousins tease them. Teju eventually completes the ritual. Rituraj watches in resentment, believing Teju married Neil just to spite him. He silently fumes, feeling replaced and rejected.
Later, Amruta gives Neil a saree for Teju, and Neil promises her his unwavering support and offers the gift. Rituraj attempts to provoke Neil by alluding to Teju’s past relationships. Neil remains composed, replying that everyone has a past, including himself, and he would be open about it with his future wife. Jeetu mocks Rituraj in return.
As the ceremony concludes, Amruta asks Teju to touch Neil’s feet for blessings. Despite Leena’s sarcastic remarks, Teju hesitantly does so, and Neil reassures her of his support once again. Prachi sends them to rest, but Rituraj reminds everyone that the couple must stay apart until the rituals conclude. Neil agrees and heads to the guest room while Teju returns to her room alone.
Rituraj confronts Teju, accusing her of choosing to reject him and marry his brother instead. He threatens that as long as he remains in the music industry, he’ll ensure she never succeeds as a professional singer. As he walks away, Neil overhears their conversation and is stunned to learn that Rituraj is Teju’s ex-boyfriend.
