Teju cuts vegetables while teaching Aditi English, and in return, Aditi teaches Teju how to cook. They express gratitude to each other. Later, Teju brings up Mohit, prompting Aditi to ask her to sing his favorite poem. Teju agrees and performs it. Lakshmi arrives and makes a comment about Teju, but Teju playfully silences her by putting a Modak in her mouth before making a remark in return. Eventually, Teju leaves.
Meanwhile, Leena announces to her family that if Teju enters the house, she will leave, reinforcing her stance. Nandini suggests they visit Chavan Niwas to finalize the wedding date, and Bhushan supports the idea. Neil returns home with color on his face, prompting Amruta to ask who applied it. Neil explains that one of his patients gave birth to twins, and their in-laws applied Holi color to him.
Amai and Nandini notice Neil’s new phone, and Leena remarks that he never buys a new one unless his old one stops working. Amai teasingly asks if the phone is for Juhi, but Neil appears confused, asking who Juhi is. Leena clarifies that Juhi is the person he is set to marry and makes another comment. Nandini asks if Neil will join them at Chavan Niwas, and he agrees.
Upon arriving at Chavan Niwas, the Pradhan family is served food by Teju. Neil notices Vedaant and inquires about Mukta. Lakshmi interrupts, speaking ill of Teju and Mukta, claiming Mukta didn’t raise Teju properly. Neil defends them and counters Lakshmi’s remarks. Lakshmi questions why Neil always takes their side, to which he responds firmly. Later, Lakshmi instructs Juhi to take blessings from everyone, and Juhi complies.
