Savi quietly informs the teacher that Rajat, Sai’s father, has passed away, and mentions that Neil only participated in the event for Sai, adding that they don’t deserve the award. The teacher responds that she already knew and hadn’t seen Sai so happy since Rajat’s death.
Later, Sai thanks Neil for his support as Savi watches them. The teacher then calls Savi to accept the award. Neil and Savi join Sai to receive it, and Sai excitedly asks Neil to take a photo on her phone. She shows the trophy to Nishi and playfully teases her.
Nishi’s parents mistakenly congratulate Neil, assuming he is Sai’s father. Neil tries to clarify, but they leave mid-conversation. Observing Sai and Neil, Savi decides to keep him away from her daughter. Neil, meanwhile, is surprised
Sai later thanks Neil again and suggests celebrating with ice cream. Savi interrupts, citing a sore throat, and Neil jokes they can still celebrate with Vedaan. Savi insists they leave as Dadi is unwell and sends Sai to fetch her bags.
Once alone, Savi confronts Neil, warning him to stay away from Sai. Neil defends their bond, but Savi accuses him of using Sai to monitor her. She warns him not to meet Sai again. Just then, Sai returns and hugs Neil, but Savi pulls her away. Sai blows Neil a flying kiss before Savi blocks his number on her phone and leaves.
While returning home, their cab driver takes a different route. Sai recognizes the voice—it’s Maruti. Savi distracts her with earphones, then attacks Maruti, demanding why he dared to come near her daughter. He pleads and threatens that if she doesn’t pay the next installment in four days, Ridhi will be harmed.
Savi and Sai quickly get out and take an auto. Sai notices her mother’s unease and offers to call “Pookie Uncle” (Neil) to teach the cab driver a lesson. Savi is visibly unsettled by Sai’s growing fondness for Neil.
Meanwhile, Neil feels happy having brought joy to Sai. He tries to send her the school photo but finds her number unreachable. He texts her, saying he misses her. Just then, Yash arrives and hands him Ridhi’s contact.
Back home, Savi and Sai are shocked by something they see. Elsewhere, Neil receives a parcel. At the same time, Savi consults a doctor about Bhagyashree’s condition, who says stress is the cause and must be reduced. Bhagyashree asks to see Ridhi to ensure she’s safe.
At Ridhi’s place, she refuses to eat, and Maruti tries to convince her. Meanwhile, Yash reveals to Neil that the parcel contains Teju’s university results—she’s topped the university. Manjari laments that Teju missed the moment, while Bhushan and Leena react coldly. Neil comments on the lack of celebration for Teju’s achievements. Vinod offers support, but Neil walks away. Manjari hopes Neil finds someone who can truly share his happiness and sorrow.
